Peter, a human, gets lost in the forest and meets the kirins. One is particularly chatty, so they end up chatting... a lot (I mean, look at the word count) and then they snuggle.

There might also be petting, and non consensual hugs.

The daily lives of the royal princesses, often times is pretty simple. Wake up, raise or lower their celestial bodies, hold court, meetings, sleep, and repeat. Oh, and dealing with their infuriating nephew! Overall, things aren't all that easy for them but it's manageable and mundane.

But when an innocent wish came true, both sisters are now facing a new Blueblood. One that can be considered better, yet for some reason, this version seems to have forgotten how magic works and keeps looking at the world like a newborn baby.

So what happens now? Did their wish actually come true? Is it some sort of act? Has he been replaced by a changeling? And what does this new Blueblood mean for Equestria?

Only one thing is for sure, shenanigans will appear and a lot of ponies are about to spit their coffee. Look out Equestria! There is a new Blueblood on the loose, and this one might actually be worthy of the title 'Prince'.

I made this out of curiosity and intrigue, so there is no need to take too seriously. This takes place during season 8 before Spike got his wings.

A reboot of sorts of my former series Ponyville Noire, Daring Do: Shadows Over Equestria is an adventure-mystery story with heavy influence from the Cthulhu Mythos and related spinoffs, particularly the Arkham Horror franchise. Trouble Shoes has been living a miserable life as a clumsy oaf who can't land a job and is forced to trade his own possessions for basic necessities. But his entire life changed after taking a dip in an enchanted mirror pool that changed his cutie mark but swapped his gender. The Clydesdale hesitates to accept this new reality but quickly learns his new cutie marks him the luckiest pony in Equestria. Not only that, his dreams of becoming a Rodeo Star can now finally be achieved. However, there are unattended consequences to Trouble Shoes' new luck as he learns and will have to see how much he's willing to pay to keep this new life.
