Well I just read a story today
It's good. But it seems waaaaaaay too fast. This is a hyper speedrun. One doesn't go from fear and judgemental to "I can't live without you" love that fast. Take your time. You could break it up into chapters, you could flesh out the process of moving past fear to get closer to her. Good story, just a little rushed. I believe in you man!
As an insomniac, stories like this always hit a special place in me. I'd love to see this drawn out into a longer story.
Honestly I like it but the pacing is way too fast. I'd say try to flesh it out a bit more and show the progression from fear to love with them. This is a pretty good fic can't wait to see what you do.

I think the romance was too fast, ñerhaps with more nights and dreams that could have worked, and then end it similar to what it ended in this, be ause how it ended, for me, it appears that Bryan just died and all was a hallucination.

Thanks! Definitely considering either breaking the story up with a time break or fleshing the story out some more in the future.
Pacing is probably one of my biggest issues (and it’s pretty prevalent when you’re writing at 12:30 AM), and I hope to work on that some more with later fics.

i hope that now that you wrote a prequel to this story which i read first than this one, i hope a sequel is in the works i want to see an interlude story of how Nightmare convinced Celestia to let her return to Bryan. I would like to see what Nightmare had to offer for the agreement. Then a further sequel to see how Nightmare and Bryan's romance story deepens, end with a climax where Bryan does something to protect NMM and is on death's door or something where he is offered a choice to either die or something or choosing going to Equestria where NMM is and where he can be saved

I’m really surprised this story is still kicking after five(?) months, and that people still like it! I’ve put it on hiatus for now due to other projects I have to tend to, but I would love to return to this eventually.
