Long ago, the Monsters and Humans fought a great war. The Monsters lost, and were sealed in the Underground. It would take the power of seven human souls to break the barrier that kept them imprisoned. They only had six. And so the Monsters waited and hoped, praying that another human would find their way to the Underground. Some thought the seventh soul would give their King the strength to break the barrier. Some dreamed of a human who would be their friend, and save them all...or had nightmares of one who would bring back the war.

...but nobody came.

...but somepony did.

Eons after the war, with no way to tell how much time had passed above, a tiny blue filly with wings and horn fell into the underground, calling for her Mama. None knew the poor creature's nature or origins...but her soul was powerful with magic, even more so than a human soul.

None can know what will come...of this little 'Woona'.

Another escape from custody, another scheme to take over Maretropolis, and another chance for the Power Ponies to defeat her. Such is the cycle that Mane-iac has endured for as long as she can remember.

And she's sick of it. She's sick of all of it. Now on the cusp of one more battle with her nemeses, she can only think of how much she has sacrificed for the city in her battles against the Power Ponies, and how much more she can take.

Fluttershy has always been the most cowardly of the Mare Six, not to mention the most paranoid. So when the "end of days" reveals its ugly head, our favorite yellow Pegasus is ready to batten down the hatches. Can Rarity be able to convince her best friend that she's being ridiculous and bring her back to reality, or will she need a helping hand? We all know what happened when newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle went through the enchanted mirror that led her to a world parallel to Equestria to retrieve her crown stolen by Sunset Shimmer. But, what if she hadn't gone through alone?

What if instead of Spike, her friends defied Celestia's warning and followed her into the other world? Would things really be that disastrous, or can this group of friends bring back together a different group of friends, who remind them of ponies, or creatures, back home in Equestria, or seem somewhat familiar? And will they also help the Mane 6 stop Sunset Shimmer from accomplishing whatever plan she's scheming?

After deciding on taking up the role of a Substitute and finding out that the main Philosophy teacher is boring his students, Discord decides to step in to take up the responsibility of teaching.
