Have you ever wondered "Where did Spike come from? Where did Celestia get his egg?" Well, what if that question was a mystery no longer? When visiting Princess Cadence, Shining armor and their little baby, Flurry heart, Spike stumbles across a particular crystal statue in a closet in the Crystal castle. When he asks about it he discovers something that prompts him to run into the arctic north without telling Twilight.

There he meets a stranger, someone he never thought he would in the ruins of the Dragon's Quarry.

Spike, banished from Ponyville for a crime he never committed, turned from his friends, he walks through the Everfree, were someone he never expected sent him on a new adventure and life.

He was called Spike, but now he will be the Dragon Assassin.

Now he has to explore, not only his colorful surroundings, but also his own deepest memories to find out who he really is and why he was brought there in the first place...

Spike has had a lot of extra time since Twilight and Starlight have become busy with their various duties. It's understandable, but he feels rather useless at times.

After taking a trip to the local hospital, Spike starts volunteering to entertain the fillies and colts in the children's wing. Spreading laughs and smiles to children and families who need encouragement is more fulfilling then he could have ever wished.

But, when a certain blonde-maned pegasus with much less fortunate circumstances takes notice of Spike and just how caring he truly is, how will Spike react?

This is my FINAL fanfic in Fimfiction! Since I feel bad about leaving the Alternate Season Six story unfinished, I'm making one more story for Fimfiction, and it's the biggest MLP story I've ever made! I've already started writing actual novels, but this story is going to mark my departure of making MLP fanfics. I do hope you enjoy this one, because I really hope for a similar story in the actual show!
