While helping the land recover and purifying monsters, a fox they had in their care spawned a second tail. Despite knowing the risks, the priests believed she could be a force for good and began to train her in the ways of healing and purification. 

However, not long after gaining her third tail, word of her existence began to spread, causing her caretakers to fear for her life. They decided to send her to a distant land, a land of peace, harmony, and friendship. There, Princess Celestia found her and, interested in her ability to purify monsters, took the three-tailed fox in with the hopes she could save her fallen sister.

Almost every brony that has ever been in Fimfiction.net has seen a 'HiE as pony' story.

They usually are fairly predictable, with a few plot twists perhaps, but the general pattern is similar.

A mystical force/accident sends a completely unprepared human into the land of the ponies, and he must then undergo a journey of self discovery/destiny, as a human OR pony.

So what happens when a human is actually prepared with all the knowledge he'd need from the first two seasons of the show? And when Equestria isn't quite as predictable as he hoped?

This is that tale.

The Brony Fandom lived long and old. Memes were made, ponies were enjoyed, and lives were rearranged to accommodate. As time went on, the passion that once fired up the community became just a flickering spark, and so the Brony name waned until, finally, the fandom died to obscurity.

That was it for user TutorialBlues88, who swore off his Brony pride after over two decades. But nostalgia one day invoked him to reflect on philosophies of a fandom long since dead. He wondered if it’s okay to turn back, to enjoy ponies once again even if its alone.

In meeting death, reincarnation gave Tutorial the opportunity to discover for himself what friendship and ponies meant to him, redefining and revisiting lessons attended since Season One.

Celestia has never used her full power.

But that might be about to change. Chrysalis has contacted her and requested a meeting out in the middle of nowhere. Celestia expects a trap. In fact, she's hoping for it.
