Sorry for anyone expecting a chapter, but I wanted those who happened to put this on their list of fics to watch as it were to know it's future.

It's been three years since I was last on fimfiction, but this fic has never left my mind. There is nothing I hate more than an unfinished fic I was actually interested in, and I didn't want my own to suffer the same fate. Time flies! The show that inspired me to write this ended before I could finish it, which is insane to think about.

As with many other fanfiction writers, college and life in general hits hard. I knew I had left the previous chapter off on a cliffhanger, and I didn't want that to be the end of my first attempt at writing.

So. Since I unfortunately do not possess the passion (because it is that, given enough passion time constraints can be surpassed) to completely finish this story, within the next few weeks I'll work my hardest to finish off this first arc of the story and then put it up for adoption.

If no one ends up adopting it, it'll be more than fine. At least I hope I won't be left with this feeling of incompleteness, of work undone. The story will have a 'ending' anyone can extrapolate further adventures from. If anyone feels like taking the story and characters further, they'll be more than free to.

To everyone who initially started reading this story hoping for someone to give earth ponies some love all the way back when, I apologize for not following through. I hope you guys get some good chuckles out of this last chapter.

Just glad to hear from you, like seriously awesome to hear you're still kicking. I look forward to seeing the arc completed but, please, let me stress, that you should only write for yourself.

If you can and want to finnish the arc then I would love to see it. Just remember that you truly owe us readers nothing. This is a fantastic story with a unique idea that I have not seen done, even similarly, anywhere else.

Hard to imagine that the last chapter was truly updated 2 years and 3.5 months ago of this comment's writing. Time has flown, I remember this story as if I only read it a week ago. Again, thanks for the update.

That's not usually how the feature box works. Not to be a downer, but if the story was featured before and is updated, it will usually end up in the bottom three spots of the box.

But only if there aren't more popular ones already taking those spots. I have had stories that hit the popular spots several chapters in, but the next chapter did NOT appear in the popular list at all. In fact it was several chapters later before it hit the list at all. then the next wasn't. At about the 50 chapter mark my story started hitting the list every chapter until it ended. Meanwhile I have another story that hit the popular list with the first chapter, and the latest, number 42, did not make the list at all.

So previous appearances in the list are not a guarantee of hitting the list with the next chapter.

I get it...real life can REALLY suck sometimes. You do what you got to do.

For what it's worth, I appreciate you at least trying to give your readers SOME closure- that's MORE then most writers give -be proud of that.

I'd ask to adopt this, but it's far too similar to another story idea I have in the works:

"Reincarnated as the Pony Villain: ALL PATHS LEAD TO DOOM"

So I'd be splitting my creativity and time between two similar stories, causing them BOTH to suffer. And that would be bad for everyone.

However, that statement implies it is true when it isn't. Otherwise, how do you explain how any story that manages to hit the list, doesn't always continue to do so? The story I mentioned hit the list every chapter for 41 chapters before number 42 failed to do that. So, prior listing as Featured is not, in any way, a prerequisite for being Featured again. It is based on how fast the chapter racks up readers, and if there are any other updated stories that are performing better than it at that time.

If only stories that had previously been on the featured list were given priority, then no new stories would every make, because there are ALWAYS previous stories on the list getting updates.

The logic is very simple: how many people are reading it RIGHT NOW compared to the other stories that have been just published or updated. I have seen no indication in the years I've been here that a story previously making the list was somehow involved in it making the list a second time.

Look, from my understanding, the bottom three slots are reserved for updated stories only. I didn't program the site though and I'm not all that interested in reaching the box. I'd rather have engaging commenters. If that's not actually the case, then the more I know.
