After a new threat decimates Equestria, The Mane Six must find a way to stop this enemy. During Equestria's darkest hour, a human appears seemingly out of nowhere, claiming his kind have faced this enemy before, and he has a weapon that can stop it. Can humankind help save ponykind from destruction? Or will this threat exterminate what remains of their world?

Derpy Hooves is a happily-occupied mailmare. And as everypony knows, she's extremely fond of muffins. But for those rare instances in which she lacks a muffin to her name, she doesn't take it very well. So, one fine day, Derpy is both lacking in muffins... AND in money. Having no other option, the mailmare decides to get an emergency job at the local library.

Unfortunately, Twilight Sparkle doesn't have much need for yet another assistant; much less one that needs pay. So, to keep Derpy happy for a change, she decides to give her the only other job she could think of... let her keep an eye on a rusty old Time Machine that she just happened to have stashed away in the basement.

...What could possibly go wrong?

Written in my infinite boredom, another fic dedicated to everyone's favorite muffin-lover, and slightly more sensible than the last one I wrote. A two-part fanfic, so, expect Part 2 to come along soon. I might even do more with this idea later on, so who knows?

Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and writing just isn’t a part of it anymore. That being said, I love these stories of mine very much. There’s a lot of myself that I put into them, and at least a couple people have told me that these stories meant a lot to them as well. After their breakup in Season 1, the members of the God Squad find themselves at their lowest points. Shining and Cadence are divorced, Celestia and Luna aren't speaking, and Tydal is in self-imposed exile.

But when they, along with Chrysalis, are transported halfway around the globe, they find their good names have been tarnished and everypony believes them dead. The five immortals (and one unicorn stallion with more sanity than the five gods put together) must find a way back home and reclaim what is rightfully theirs.

Of course, with pirates, international thieves, communists, flying reindeer, zebra warriors, and door-to-door salesponies all standing in their way, the trip back home will not be easy.
