Edwin Shell is a human come to Equestria after his violent, early demise. He wakes up in a strange land in an even stranger body, finding colorful creatures that call themselves "ponies". He soon finds himself in a centuries standing power struggle between the Numbereds, the ancient race that has guarded Equestria since time immemorial, and the Angelics, who are countless and seek total annihilation of civilized life. Can Edwin find a way into this strange world, or will he be killed before he has a chance?

I'm not proud of this fic by any means, it was my first, and by far my least favorite. Go ahead and hate it, I have to partially agree with you.

After establishing himself in Ponyville, Comet's friends come to a disturbing realization. This is his story in showing everyone in Ponyville that anyone can change for the better, even someone who's got their head in the clouds.

A seemingly average man in an dull life receives a Unicorn's horn, a magician's cape, and an ancient journal from his now-dead great grandfather after being lost in the postal service for more than 30 years. With only a few hints and a limited store of magic in a world that otherwise lacks magic completely he seeks to know the truth about his family's legends, and his heritage.

While the story itself is complete, as readers find errors and point them out to me I'll be going back occasionally to fix them. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. The direct sequel is now in the works, as to the alternate continuation that lost the vote at the end if anyone cares to read it. I may or may not also work on that one from time to time depending on my mood.
