Haunted by memories of Nightmare Moon’s unnatural darkness, a mysterious stranger has staggered into Ponyville, the grand city on its horizon guiding him forth on a grim quest to have Princess Luna answer for a terrible tragedy. Fate quickly entangles Twilight and her friends into its designs, and it may take the combined efforts of the Elements of Harmony to stop what could very well spiral into catastrophe. Can they conquer their own doubts and inspire a conflicted soul to give up on revenge? Or are the mistakes of the past destined to repeat?

Life is full of surprises. That is a known fact. However, you always expect some kind of minor surprise, like your train arriving a little too late, or your ice-cream having vanilla taste rather than strawberry. But sometimes, life will give you surprises you could never predict. For Fluttershy, it was three little foals. But not her own foals, or even orphans. Three little foals that used to be her and her friends' most fearsome and dreaded foes.

But being as weakhearted as she is. A voice from her mind that promises to do the deed for her and Bright will not remember what happened when it is in control. She believes this voice is her savior...But can it be her downfall?

Now she must prove to the other ponies that she is not the 'Nightmare Moon' they think she is, and earn their trust, while they must earn hers. Especially this 'Princess Luna' character.

But two questions stand out above the rest as being truly important: How did she get there, and why?

Your writing is too confusing and smart for connoisseurs of red and black alicorns, but too esoteric and rough for high-brow crowd. For example, you still don't fixed seven improper uses of then in the second chapter of Rare Source. Every orthodox grammar nazi closed tab after second improper use.

Lightning Dust's dream of being a Wonderbolt is on the verge of collapse. Just moments ago, she was the standout among this year's enlisted cadets.

She left the academy dejected, her confidence shattered. Still, she knew what she had to do. This would not stand. She would overcome being discharged from the academy.

Little did Lightning Dust know that her resolve would betray her, causing her to become her own worst enemy.

The suppressed thoughts, feelings and fears that lurk in the back of one's mind can manifest themselves into the most horrifying of dreams. And Lightning Dust is about to find herself locked in a dream she cannot escape from, one that she can't control.

A young man with a love of military history and MLP:FIM finds himself dragged into Equestria as war threatens the pony nation.

I got the idea for this story from my Civil War book collection and Altoid's Blood and Guts and Ponies story, as it involves a human coming to Equestria to aid in its defense, partly by modernizing it's military and leading its forces on the battlefield.

Just a warning; the main character is Christian and pro-Union. Just to give people a heads up.

The changelings are banished, the day is saved! Yet a victory for one must be a defeat for another, and this particular victory has left one changeling stranded in Canterlot, alone and broken. A certain pink party pony is also alone in the Canterlot night, hiding her depression from her friends. She cannot, however, hide her feelings from a changeling. What will become of this unlikely pair?
