Broken Dreams was my first attempt at writing. What you see today was the result of at least three different scrapped projects that eventually grew into what was published. Even though this is a fictional story, I tried to base it off of my own life experiences. Mainly the series of recurring dreams that began shortly after being fired from my dream job. Originally I was going to use an OC, but I felt Lightning Dust was the best canon pony for the story.

Hey Everyone,

Last week I submitted Broken Dreams to The Royal Guard for evaluation. I thought I had a fighting chance and as it turned out it did ok. I made it to tier one... so not as far as I thought.

They recommended a few different groups to get help and one of them that I looked into was the Overly Extensive Editors group. I’ve been going over the chapters with SubShock over the last few days and there have been some noticeable improvements in how the story flows.
