It has been eight long years since Principal Celestia lost her only child. Eight years of self blame and sadness. When a young woman stumbled into her office, begging to be enrolled she thought that it was just a cruel joke. Especially when that girl turned out to be a tormented villain from another universe. But could Celestia’s mistake be another girls salvation?

When Sunset was hit by the rainbow, she lost everything. She had no friends, no family, or at least a decent place to call her own. But when all seemed lost, she not only found someone that cares about her like a mother but also someone very special.

Takes place after Fall Formal.

Sunset's life after that dreaded Fall Formal has improved in every way. Everyone at CHS likes her, she has a loving group of close friends, and she finally feels like she can move on from her past mistakes.

That is until she stumbles upon an a familiar face in an old yearbook and finds out he was one mistake she can never fix. Sunset had made amends with everyone else she hurt, but how can she forgive herself for a suicide she caused?

Sunset Shimmer thought her friends cared, as the Battle of the Bands looms, she learns just how much they do.

Sunset Shimmer thought she had finally succeeded - all her life, she was pushed to be the best, to let no one stand in her way, to claw her way to the top. She thought she finally achieved everything she could ever want - a school under her iron fist and a seemingly perfect plan to prove her worth to Equestria. She thought she was finally happy.

Weeks later, she realizes she has made a grave mistake. She thought she was finally happy, finally able to show the world she wasn't a failure; little did she know how wrong she was.

Now swearing to become a better person and finally achieving in fixing the destruction she caused, she feels she is on the road to recovery...or is she?

When she comes to the rescue of two of the people she's constantly tormented in the past, truths will be revealed, tensions will rise, and emotions will reach their climax. While dealing with her own insecurities and the fact that her friends seem to be excluding her. Sunset finds herself getting wrapped up in the mystery and chaos brought on by three new students. But can she handle it when her world starts falling apart right in front of her? and more importantly, can Twilight Sparkle actually help save Canterlot High again?

Sunset Shimmer has been worrying her friends of late. It had started off as her talking around the subject of home. Then outright avoiding it.

It isn't that her friends want to have a sleepover at her place, or have her host a Pinkie Party. They're just worried. Sunset does have somewhere to call home right? A roof over her head and a warm place to sleep?

Just a story I wrote trying to escape writers block on other projects. It sort of ran away with me. Name comes from this track, but it didn't have much influence on the story. In need of cover art if anyone can point me to something good.
