Swansong, an energetic stallion from Canterlot, has seen a few deaths in his time as a private detective in Ponyville. But when tragedy hits closer to home than he ever expected, it's up to his best friend, Rainbow Dash, to cheer him up.

It's the same old story these days; Brony goes to a convention, wearing the costume of their favorite game or movie character, buys something and gets teleported to a world full of friendly ponies becoming said character, story becomes an adventure with comedy or romance. Maybe an evil villain once or twice...

Being stuck in a world with multicolored,talking,magical ponies who want to turn you into nothing than a statue,along with a pink pony who refuses to follow the laws of physics trying to stuff cake in me,is not how I imagined my summer would turn out,oh well,life is life.

A man is transported to Equestria through some unknown means. Instead of becoming the life of the party in an instant, he is forced to survive using less than conventional means, hiding from the denizens of Ponyville in fear of how they would react to a human being. But such an existence cannot last forever.

As well, he must contend with the reality of an incomplete cartoon world. Things are not as easy to adjust to as they seem.

I'm a spiteful old man. I've spent my entire life trying to fulfill my wish. The same thing every one of us wants.

The year is 2070. I'm the last brony alive, 82 years old. But I did it. I created the portal. And I'm jumping through. No regrets.

The Nightmare

No matter how much I try, no matter how much I succeed, no matter how much I put my best efforts, I am always alone. No friends. No family. No love. Nothing. I'm treated like I'm nothing. That what I've always been. Lonely. Loneliness has been my only friend in... well, ever. Nopony cares about me, they all talk behind my back. I can never experience friendship.

I want to change all that. I don't want anymore of new terrible experiences. I have even moved to another new town to be rid of it all of the past. I wants friends. I want to feel like I have some family in my life. I want to love. Things that I will always dream for in my life, that's all I want.

But no matter what you tell me, I simply can't. I can't tell if the new ponies that I meet want to be my friend, or are master actors and puppeteers, treating me like another disposable puppet. HI can't ever trust another pony ever again. Can I? I don't know. Should I make any attempt? I don't even know if I have any hope left.

The only hope I have left is that I don't go insane... Please... Somepony... Let me experience friendship... Let me have a friend. Is that too much to ask for?

But whatever happens, he needs and will too learn many things. And I am forced to watch everything that goes on. And then somepony, at the end of it all, will have revenge.
