Alien biology is a fickle thing. Humans, of course, fit under this category. Turns out some parts of them are cause for concern.

Split Mask, a changeling, one who hides who he really is behind a mask, and is thought to have disguises that have their own personalities. Its where he got his name, well not by himself however. it's a long story, we'll get to that eventually. This is about his past, the present, and the years between them. This is his story as he lives in the chaotic town of Ponyville, and as he grows up to become the ling he will be.

How will he survive the many ponies living in the many different towns he'll visit over the course of his new life?

How will he survive in disguise, with hundreds of disguises written in a book at his disposal?

How will he survive being friends with the towns ponies... especially after the events of the Royal Wedding?

The answer? His metaphorical mask, willpower, and good looks.

Oh boy here we are again, another story I might not finish because I have too many ideas. Might as well have this here. Not sure when it'll progress. But hey, it's something.

The present takes place one week before the thousandth Summer Sunset Celebration.

Clover the Clever never asked for his life to get so complicated.  It was bad enough tricking a drunk Imperatrix Celestia, war goddess of the Three Tribes, out of her accidental coup against Queen Platinum.  But now the most dangerous pony in Equestria has returned to trade her claim on the sun for a chance to woo him.

On top of that, his erstwhile mentor Star Swirl the Bearded has saddled him with a mysterious magical necklace and a uniquely bleak and pointless prophecy: If he's brave enough, and if he's clever enough, he just might survive Celestia for long enough to break her heart.

A year after her redemption and another year for Hearth's Warming, Starlight is awakened late at night by a knocking on her door. There, she finds Snow, a colt abandoned by his parents and left with a thick rugged blanket and a rather short note. With no names to go by, Starlight takes to caring for Snow Star and getting to know him. After getting him looked at by a doctor and coming down with a devastating diagnosis, Starlight strives to make Snow's last few days the best he's ever had.

However, a constellation of winter stars peer over the nearby mountains and call out to Snow, their meaning bound in mystery and wonder. A legend that connects the three of them together through a greater unknown.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders (or rather, The Cutie Mark Crusader Paranormal Investigators) go on a late night escapade to see if the stories of the evil necromancer are true. Of course, they bite off more than they can chew, but is this for the best? Or is the shadowy bogeystallion chasing them through the night out for blood?

Shudderbones has accepted the Apples as his new family. Big Mac is like a brother. Apple Bloom and the other Crusaders are like younger sisters.
And Applejack... Applejack was the mare that he knew his heart belonged to.
But with a disturbing fetch of himself appearing to him in dreams and mirrors, Shudderbones is afraid of losing his one chance of being happy.

This story is a sequel to Memory Pending

The story of Moon Mender continues after his dream of an ending ceases. He continues his struggle to belong in a world so far divorced from the only other experience he can remember, but as an outsider of truly alien mindset, will he ever be able to find a place in Equestria? More importantly, will the life he left behind give up on its death grip so easily? The most important thing to remember is that things are rarely as they seem and sometimes, some things are better off forgotten.

This story is a direct sequel to Memory Pending. Without having read that, this story might be a little strange to most, which is frightening considering how strange it is already. It can be read as a standalone story of course, but you won't get the most out of it.

Further, I’m fully aware that not everypony enjoys more mature themes, so any scenes containing things of an M rated nature shall only be released in a separate story when the time comes. This story deals with more mature themes on a whole, as a warning. This version will do its best to censor the really sensual or graphic content out, of course.

But being as almost all of the townsfolk still believe he did it, and have angered-driven hatred towards him, helping this poor stallion to get back into society may be more difficult than the Main 6 had thought, even with the help of the very detective from Fillydelphia who cleared his name. Now all hope relies on Sapphire Shores, The Pony of Pop who makes a stop to Ponyville to visit a certain sick filly, and Princess Luna, the princess of the night who has watched this stallion's suffering for sometime to help fix everything. Will the pop star and princess save this poor prisoner? Read to find out in this drama like story.

Gale is a Cloudsdale-born Canterlot pony. His mother, a pegasus called Gust, insisted that Gale had to be born in Cloudsdale to "feel the real wind in his wings." Nevertheless, she moved in with Gale’s father, Goldstein, a Canterlot aristocrat. Despite their residence being in the capitol, Gale still frequently visited his family in Cloudsdale, went to Junior Speedsters and lived the life of a normal young Cloudsdale pegasus. However, his father tried to make him more like himself – high-class.
Young Gale didn’t like being tied down with rules like that – like most young pegasi, he yearned for wind in his wings and a vast sky to fly through. This led to some problems with Gale’s father, naturally. Gale’s mother – a free spirit herself – supported her son instead.
As Gale got older, he – like most of his peers – wished to be admitted to the Wonderbolts. While a competent flier, he wasn’t anything extra. Nevertheless, he tried hard, trained and pushed himself to the limit. He even moved back to Cloudsdale so he could devote all his free time to practice.
During the Wonderbolt’s try-outs – a large lap through and around Cloudsdale – everything changed. At first, Gale’s agility and hours of training won him the first spot, but he soon found himself competing against a faster, stronger opponent, Blaze. Gale pushed himself like he never did, almost reaching supersonic speed. However, the track was mainly plotted with agility in mind. In a sharp turn, Gale lost control and crashed to a building.
The young pegasus was hurt during the accident. Not only he broke his wing, but he lost his left eye. His wing healed, but not perfectly. Coupled with the eye injury, Gale was shamed and broken. He knew he could never make it into the Wonderbolts now.
The pegasuse moved back to Canterlot, pondering the meaning of his life. He was rescued from his depression by his old schoolmate, Fleur. The pony shared his dream of joining the Royal Guard and insisted Gale would be a welcome addition as well. Reluctantly, Gale agreed.
The two friends trained together, quickly rekindling the almost-forgotten friendship of their youth. Eventually, they both got admitted, being mistaken for brothers at times.
Even with a promising career in the Guard, Gale sometimes still finds himself thinking what life could have been were it not for his injury.
Could he have been a Wonderbolt?

Would he have won the race?

But more importantly, would Fleur still become his best friend?

This story will not be continued. I don't feel any real connection to the character anymore, and have decided to start fresh. My appreciation goes out to all those who have read and commented on it.
