Foggy Horizons, formerly known as Dusky, has committed the most terrible crime known to Equestria. With fire in his past and a hatred for dragons, he is exiled to Earth to live his days away from those he wishes to harm. Unfortunately for Equestria, he is not content with this. Scraping by in the human world and plotting with fellow exile Sunset Shimmer, will he ever find true friendship or even love? Or is he destined to just be another villain in the textbooks of Equestria?

And what impact will a dark magic forbidden to all have on him?

Partially inspired by Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire", but the Peter Hollens version is great too.

This fanfiction will have Sunset Shimmer paired with the main character of the story in later chapters, and it'll be a little bit of a slow burn until then. The death tag is there for once the story kicks off as well. Horror is there for black magic, necromancy, seeing ghosts, etc.

Humans are resilient creatures. So much so that they're seven billion strong, ruling the planet for hundreds of thousands of years, until an inexpiable disaster washed over the entire Earth. A chaotic and maleficent force, simply out to kill and destroy. Skyscrapers were torn from their foundations and contorted. Time itself is warped. Daunting creatures slay the humans by the thousands, then the millions, and then the billions. Within a single week, the entire human race is extinct, except for one. All that is left is a single boy, in the now-abandoned world of distorts. Alone.

An amazing discovery was made by the princess of friendship her self. A new planet with life aside from their world! It is an exciting discovery, and the idea of possible intelligent alien life allured Twilight. So much so, she conjured up a spell that will allow her and five others to travel to this new world. After weeks of decisive planning, Twilight and her friends arrive at the new world. Though something felt off. Almost familiar in a disturbing way. An hour past in the strange world, and the first sign of intelligent life reveals itself. An enormous city was seen on the horizon. Excited, they march towards this mysterious city, only to find it empty. Void of any inhabitants, except one.

An abused thestral colt thrown away in the cold of the Frozen North finds a new home with a family he would not have expected to care about him.

Late hours and overtime... I can't complain too much, it means good money. And good money means enjoying the finer things in life, or at least keeping expensive hobbies active anyways. A few grand into my gear, which constantly comes out with new toys, then another hundred or so every time I want to put my life into my and my buddy's hands ten fathoms deep, if not more so... Sorry, I'm rambling here.

Anyways! Something was bound to give eventually. And now, it finally has. I'm waking up in Equestria, just as the main story is coming into play. At least, I *think* it's the main story... I really hope the Zebras and Ponies aren't trading gems and coal... Or that there are some severe gender roles going on... Or, well, yeah... guess we'll just find out as we go, won't we?

Look, I'm not even going to TRY and deny it, this is straight up wish-fulfillment SI-OC 'Start to follow the plot' 'No, not that plot!' nonsense. It's meant to be more one part enjoyment of writing, one part getting the idea out of my head, and one part getting out of cases of writer's block than anything. So, don't expect a consistent schedule on this by ANY stretch of the imagination. That being said, I do hope you all enjoy it, at least somewhat. And that I'll see you around my other stories!

You ever ask yourself, "What if I could do that?" after watching a superhero movie or reading a comic? I'm sure you have at some point. I somehow landed myself in Equestria, with the power of applying Garry's Mod LUA to reality, starting with Nothing but a floating notepad window, a simple console, and access to the Garry's Mod Wiki.

(This is basically my attempt at combining ideas from my cancelled stories Break The System and Modding Equestria into one story, while also nerfing the abilities, and taking it a bit more seriously. This will sometimes contain actual code and stuff, but you should be able to skip over that, I just feel like throwing it in for fun.)

Hex Breaker is a little colt full of big dreams he has yet to unlock. One night while sitting on the roof of their Seaddle home, his father tells him the story of the Mare in the moon. Filled with adoration for the deity trapped away there, Hex begins to have nightly conversations with the moon that lead to him unlocking doors to his mother's past and his own future.

When the Cutie Mark Crusaders try to earn their cutie marks in fire fighting they are nearly killed when the fire they started quickly grows out of control. They are rescued by a stallion who turns out to be a bat pony. What's strange is the fact that, until Princess Luna's return, bat ponies have been extinct for over nine hundred years and cannot survive in direct sunlight. Twilight seeks Princess Celestias' advice when she senses a powerful magic hidden deep within the bat pony known as Firestorm. Celestias' only advice is to treat him as a friend.

Never one to question her loving teacher, Twilight follows her instruction and welcomes Firestorm as a friend and so do the other elements of harmony. As their time together continues, Firestorm becomes drawn to not only one of Twilights' closest friends, but one of the fillies of the CMC as well. Twilight soon realizes in the midst of their growing friendship with Firestorm, something about him is very off.....

So suddenly, my life was ripped away from me. My friend and family are gone. Everything I once knew vanished before me.

Magic? Ponies? I don't understand it at all. All I know is I'm not me anymore, and my memory is fading. Then, just as I was starting to get comfortable in this new world, I find my former face staring back at me one day, and with it my life changes once more.

So much for living peacefully.
