So, yeah, finally a new chapter is here.
What can I say other than time goes by fast and you never realize how much you lose until it's lost. Five years

I wrote some Feather Steel. Now I'm going to bed.
I get busy and I'm still looking for work.
...and I do a million other things.
But I do feel bad.
How do you continue a story based on eight years of work?
I've tried to write up new chapters, but it's like the momentum is lost. It's not impossible to gain back, but it feels very out of reach. I don't think I won't finish the story... I mean, just look at this! Talk about coming rising something from the dead.
I didn't write much, but I finally did start working on a new chapter. It's rough and needs more organic feeling lines, but it's something!
It makes you feel incredibly sad...
I've been stumped on this for a while. I do plan on finishing it and thanks to theRedBrony, I do have a finished outline that should probably be ironed out before I continue, but I've been stuck on this fic for a long while. The issue is I started focusing far more in my writing on showing rather than telling, in a big way. I've been trying to write scenes that focus on a narrowed perspective of one character only because I feel that,
To make a long story short, this is my work schedule currently:
4:30 pm to 1 am five days a week. The place I work at is roughly 50 minutes from my home, too and the job is super exhausting. So, already we're off to a bad start.
In addition to Feather Steel I'm also currently and actively working on new chapters for Reflections of Darkness (I may change the name to that from its original title as I feel it's a tad much.
Haven't done one of these in a long while, but here it goes. I should also point out that bit about Non in the title, someone gave me a story a week or two ago and it got me into a little-known fandom which I had dipped my toes in, a fandom (fanfiction obviously) that is outside out ponies. Not that I'm giving up on ponies, but it's refreshing to try something new, even if I had already attempted it once before. I only wish that now, more than ever, Fimfic accepted stories from other fandoms
It can be found here. I'm very sorry for such a long wait, but it was a busy year, also it was only recently that we finished our full summary of the story. That way I'm not just writing forever with no clear goal in mind.
Anyway, happy reading!
Hopefully, none of you expected me to just, you know...
Uh, but no that is not the case. Back at the beginning of February, I vaguely explained what I'll be doing for the next couple months and finally that long semester is over with.
Work... work... work...
Okay, I've been trying to draw out a concise outline for Feather Steel with my friend, theRedBrony. So far we've at least narrowed down a few things about the story. What we really, really need is a good way to end Feather Steel and to nail down a few vague details I had floating around in my noggin'.
I've attempted to write this blog several times and have given up because, honestly, I don't really know what to say for now. I need to rethink how this story will be written and really have a long talk with my co-writer about maybe me taking the lead for a bit due to the stress he's under and constant work. I assume so though we haven't been talking too often. Not to get too personal or anything.
Wow that took a while. I hope you all enjoy it!
I think I've finally finished the bonus chapters in Feather Steel. It took me forever because I couldn't justify that ending without a real reason. You know when you watch a character do something in a movie or video game and you go... huh? In the back of your head, you accept it so you can just move on and keep watching, but you can't help but feel like their decisions aren't rational and lack real logic behind them? That was my issue, hopefully, it reads fine and no one brings up any
Yay... I need to go fix a lot of things now.
So chapter 11 is finished, basically. I just have to read it over to make sure it's how I like it and it'll be posted. Again, sorry for the long long wait.
Almost finished. I just need Jay to look through it and it can go straight to publishing. Sorry for the wait! I wanted to wait on publishing another bonus chapter and wrapping that story up, but that one may take a bit more time. Hope you can all just be a bit more patient!
