Sunset Shimmer thought she was going to lose everything. Instead, she gained far more than she lost. With her new family, deeper bonds with her friends, and a firm understanding of the Magic of Friendship, Sunset is ready to face the new year.

However, she really didn't expect some of the problems which would arise from having a new home and better friendships. Sure, the curfew is bothersome, her new little sister tried to frame her for a crime she didn't commit, and her new Grandma wants her to learn to shoot a rifle, but these issues are manageable.

The fact that her new life seems to have reignited her magic- which she didn't even think was possible- is more worrisome. The fact that the new magic has attracted the attention of the smartest girl at Crystal Prep further complicates matters. However, the real issue is that the new magic seems to want to be used- and is continuing to spread.

Sunset's starting to wonder if she'll ever get a break...

Sunset wanted to scream as she stared at the mirror. She was an alicorn, a freaking alicorn! Wait, what? Celestia is her mother? And did the sun deity really just said her little sister Twilight waited at the breakfast table?
Having a total overload, her brain decided to make an emergency restard. Sunset fainted. {Will include EG}

I've had this idea for a while with Sunset and Twilight being sisters. I'm sorry, but I couldn't make the beginning any better. Future chapters will be longer and hopefully better written. Tell me what you think about the General idea.

No one knows this better than Sunset Shimmer, whom, without her friends at her side, is the prime scapegoat for all the slander being thrown around. Tired of being the punching bag for all of CHS's problems, Sunset searches for something, anything that will make her life feel worth it again. She needed to prove her innocence. What she didn't know was where her tired feet would take her.

Now, she finds herself surrounded by a group that may be willing to believe her. With new friendships forming between Sunset and CHS's soccer team, the Wondercolts, will she be able to clear her name? Or will the ever expanding reach of Anon-a-Miss smear it beyond the point of no return?

Sunset Shimmer's life was turned upside down in an instant, leaving her not only to battle her inner demons but to also try to make amends but it isn't easy to forgive or forget when someone has hurt you and it seems only a few at Canterlot High are willing to even try to see the good in her. Will the few friends she has be enough to stop her from doing something rash?

No one has seen Sunset Shimmer in a week after the Fall Formal. Principal Celestia is getting worried. She doesn't really know much about Sunset Shimmer, but she is aware that she is alone in this world. When Celestia finds Sunset it is worse than she knew. Now, Celestia moves to heal the heart of the girl from another world. It is to be a difficult and hard fought battle against Sunset's own perception of self.

Can Sunset turn her life around from the downward spiral that it is in? Or is she right to believe that she is only a demon and deserves only the worst in life? Sunset's journey to forgiving herself starts with allowing her mentor's alternate into her life, but does she deserve to have the chance to disappoint two Celestias?
