Her special talent is magic, and she has very, very limited uses for that in the human world. Which is why I always get sort of disapointed whenever Sunset in a fanfic is just "Oh yeah I'll stay in the human worlds with my friends" even though shes limited to do very little. For one, college she would immediately get found out for not being a citizen, and also she as mentioned before can't do her special talent much if at all.
