It's been five years since the 'Too Many Pinkie's' incident, and despite Twilight Sparkle and co disposing of the clones one still remained. Her name is Detective Pinkamena, or 'Pink' for short. After a life on the run and foraging a life and career for herself in the Manehattan Police Department and climbing through the ranks and becoming a Detective. Pinkamena now lives a life separate from her original counterpart.

Until now. The past has a way of rearing it's ugly head in and it has a face and name to go with it. S.M.I.L.E. agent Sweetie Drops or 'Bon Bon' as she goes by now. Tasked by Celestia herself to contain the anomaly Agent Drops is now tasked with detaining Detective Pink.

Sunburst flunked out of Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns and had little to aspire for before the Lunar Rebellion, but the new regime had plans for ponies like him. Former students of Celestia’s prestigious schools were offered jobs by the Lunar state, with Sunburst himself taking one of these offers up and finding himself working for the Imperial Institute of Arcane Sciences as a researcher and magic practitioner.

Yet on the job, Sunburst is told about what became of her old friend Starlight Glimmer. Out on the Equestrian periphery, his old friend preaches an ideology advocating the elimination of cutie marks and enforces this worldview on her followers through a dystopian system of control and manipulation. Upon hearing of it, Sunburst can barely believe it.

Then he's ordered to investigate Starlight by using magic he can barely pull off.

It can only go so well.

Takes place in my New Lunar Millennium alternate universe. Some original characters from the universe are featured, but no prior knowledge beyond the general concept is required to read. More information can be found here.

About nine months ago, Luna and Twilight started dating. The first couple of months were amazing. They hung out nearly daily, especially as Twilight refined her teleportation magic. They bought each other gifts, Luna specifically catching an eye on how to spot magical artifacts at antique stores. They curled up with each other at night when their schedules allowed them to, which Luna enjoyed dearly even if things hadn’t gotten super intimate yet. Their conversations were long and fascinating, even if Luna would admit that most of her interest came from her lack of knowledge of the last thousand years.

But lately, Twilight is too busy and keeps canceling all of their dates. Worried something is wrong, Luna reaches out to somepony who might be able to her.

It was 1825, and it's been a year since Ludwig van Beethoven had premiered his Ninth Symphony. One evening as he did his daily walks in the Austrian countryside, a surprise storm forced the composer back into his cheap, rented room. Where a mysterious shadow whisked him away to Equestria, taking everything, including his music along with him.

Holding Ludwig captive against his will, the shadow tells him that if he ever hopes to see all he knows and loves in Vienna, he would have to give him something in exchange. Something priceless that only he could give. The shadow demands that he'll give Beethoven one year to compose his Tenth Symphony, or give up all hope that he will ever return home.
