Lamplight caught three bodies... three people fussing and arguing in the parking lot. Someone was shouting into a phone... pacing... cursing...
Flash felt his heart leap into his chest and turn cold. Nevertheless, he rounded the grocery store's corner in his car. His neck craned, peering out the window.
One person stood apart from the rest. A woman. She held a trembling hand over her belly. A turn of the head—eyes in the moonlight—and she waved towards him. She approached the car.
Flash felt a cold shiver up his spine. Nevertheless, he slowed the car. The window lowered. Stale night air. Crickets and scuffling shoes and the scent of gasoline.
The woman stumbled towards the vehicle. Crying. Night folded around her, black and thick and whimpering.

Edit: I'm assuming that Flash either saw an accident and couldn't, or didn't help, or was in an accident and killed someone, and blames himself.

Nah Man....I think it's something worse.
I think Flash had a teenage pregnancy, and he just ditched the girl he had it with by doing something incredibly stupid.....like accidentally getting physical with a pregnant woman. It's possible considering how emotional this dream seems, especially when they finally talk and how she's crying while talking to him.

That is also very possible. The thing that makes me think its some kind of accident is simply he's always in his car, it keeps making me think its a car accident of some kind. I could be reading to much into that aspect of it however.

My theory is that it's much simpler: Some people were rushing a pregnant lady to the hospital, the car wrecked, everyone is fine but the the two are arguing while this lady is still having a baby. She hails him for help and he just flees instead of helping out of shock.
Flash is a good enough kid I think he'd feel like a bad pony for that. There's no mention of blood and I think it's be more vivid to his memory if there was.
