My name is Roronoa Zoro, but most know me as the Green Demon. Fifteen hundred years ago I was the most wanted creature on Equus. Armies attempted to stop me, only for me to crush them. At one point, they got in a lucky shot and turned me into another trophy from an era best left forgotten.

Now?

I am a type of ally, helping to stop or hinder the coming storm that will shake this very world to its foundations. And they can't find anyone better, much to their dismay.

I have Haki. I have companions. And I've got common sense. Get ready for this demon’s return.

Twilight Sparkle's ascension into being an alicorn released a massive amount of magic. Most of it was released into Equestria, but some parts of time and space were also affected by it. Most magic fed into worlds already had the strange essence, or was simply explained out of existence. Only in a few places set around the time stream did the magic coalesce into anomalies, creating strange happenings, almost entirely unexplainable. In one long distanced world, this magic formed into a portal. What happens when a certain well adventured adventurer wanders in? Come with me, and you shall see an entire world changed by just one individual.

The game this fic is based on is called Adventure Quest, and you find it at http://www.battleon.com/ by Artix Entertainment. I own nothing besides my own character Heaross.

I highly recommend everyone try out the game, even if it is rather old. It's updated every week, and the potential it has is amazing! I do break canon a decent bit for story purposes, but the story the game has is amazing and can last you several days, especially the Devourer Saga. This game is a prime example of what a turn based rpg can be, and it is one of my favorite games of all time.

Six thousand years, That's how long I have been living in this god forsaken world filled with dragons, shapeshifters, and monsters. In that time I have found love and heartache aplenty. Heck I even got hit by a magical rainbow death beam and survived. No seriously They actually weaponized rainbows on this world.

You know what the most irritating thing about all of this? I could have avoided it all if I had just read the warning message that popped up in my game. But that is the past now I find myself making a living as a mercenary protecting villages against bandits. But with war looming on the horizon I find that I have to choose a side or end up with enemies on all sides.

Warning: This is a humanized Equestria populated with Fire Emblem races.

Gryphus is now safe from the forces of Razor Beak as Farengar is returning home to Canterlot and to his family. But an old foe of the Princesses returns, along with the city of the Crystal Empire.

The most wanted villain in recent memory, having been captured by Starlight Glimmer, has been requested by Cadence to be put up for redemption.

The catch?

Chrysalis has to choose a husband from a list the Princess of Love has crafted after three days and two (mostly) sleepless nights of coffee fueled discussion. Energy drinks were consumed. Donuts suffered inglorious fates. Prince Blueblood was put in charge while the sisters delt with lending a hoof in deciding the fallen changeling queen's fate.

Her other choices?

Celestia wants her turned to stone.

Luna wants to send her to Tartarus.

Stone, Tartarus, or marriage. Those are her choices.

Cadence won't let her choose the first two.

So here's a funny story... Hi, my name's John. I am, or at least used to be, a human. Now I'm a bloody Deathclaw. Sound cool? Yeah, I thought so too. Bad news is that I'm a fracking Displaced, which of course means that I'm in Equestria. No, not Fallout: Equestria, that would be easy: kill raiders, knock sense into Trixie, and kick Red-Eye's and the Enclave's asses!

No... This isn't even Modern Equestria! Welcome to the world of Medieval Equestria, where Celestia and Luna are just your stock-standard adventurers with low-level gear and spells! And me? Let's think about this... I'm no normal deathclaw, I'm an Alpha deathclaw. In other words; that thing we do not touch without being about 1000 yards back and a mini-nuke launcher close at hand. My skin can almost certainly stop swords, and somehow I'm Holy-aligned. So... Yeah. Mastery over all things anti-demonic and anti-zombie are mine. No, I'm not sure how in Oblivion it happened either.

In any case, I end up being Doom-Driven Party Memeber Number Three with a beggining Paladin/Cleric Celestia and Rogue/Illusionist Luna. This cannot possibly go wrong, right guys?

What happens to a human when they die? Do you ascend to Heaven where you will live without worry? Or are you sent to Hell where you must suffer for the sins you committed while alive. Or maybe your reincarnated into an animal. Well no one really knows, if we did their would be no need for so many ideas of what happens.

For the mercenary Angelus Sombra, he also wondered what would happen to him. He sure as hell wasn't a good man, but he did some good deeds in his years. But like most things in life, things didnt go as planned. Instead of letting him find out what happens to those who pass on, He is instead sent to a world that is unknown to him. A world who's problems are going to be his own. Now he must try to find a way home while trying to blend in with the locals who can somehow use magic and fly. But with the sudden "changes" that he got to his body, that might not be a hard as he thought. But at least he won't be doing it alone, as the biggest problem that this world has is stuck in his head and is constantly trying to take over his body to "claim what's rightfully his".

"All you have to do is submit shadow. Once you do, we can rule a kingdom of our own."

Lazy Pines is a small town in the high country of Colorado, easily overshadowed by the bigger sights to see along Colorado State 9. When influenza strikes the town hard, it is little more than a statistical blip in a typical flu season. No one thinks any more of it as the initial wave of infection passes ... until the other symptoms begin to manifest.

Meanwhile, during what should have been a routine trip to Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle stumbles upon a strange anomaly which turns into an all-consuming mystery. As she discovers the complex web of magic stubbornly maintaining this mystery's secrets, she grows worried what it could mean for herself and her family.

And as the residents of Lazy Pines struggle to understand -- or even believe -- what is happening to them, two worlds have irrevocably been set on a direct collision course.

Ignorance is never bliss and it can cost you. Their ignorance almost cost us Equestria. But I saw the signs, I saw the enemy. But no one would listen. My so called "Friends" never stuck by my side as I tried to warn them of the threat to our very lives loomed over us. Instead they sided with her.
