Hello!
I caught you while you were Online!

Question: Is the "Pandemic" series continuing? Or the main segment by you, at least?

I think you mean Trixie.

The science of magic is curious...

Compared to fanfics like those of The Conversion Bureau, the Pandemic universe and some of your other stories suggest thaumatic emission or radiation is not harmful to living organisms.

This is a link to a video I saw regarding energy, temperature, and wavelengths.
I am curious as to how much energy thaumatic radiation emits, and just what exactly is a 'thaumatron,' as Twilight Sparkle called it?

If possible, and at your convenience, can you please, please, PLEASE guide me to understanding the 'magic of science' you proposed?

The show does tend to contradict itself about its rule. I mean the “ no magic on manes “ thing. But Trixie did use magic on rarity mane in season one

I'm a bit of a science nerd myself, so the idea of coming up with some sort of rule or structure for magic was a fun thing to do. Though I'm no scientist myself, I know enough about topics like quantum physics and astrophysics to be dangerous. Recent discoveries and theories such as dark matter and dark energy fascinate me enough that I drew on them for inspiration when trying to lay a groundwork for "the science of magic."

It's also pretty much a necessity to lay down some sort of rules if for no other reason than to put limitations on magic. The problem is that this is based on a show where the writers really don't need to be bound by any rules. Magic can just be made to do whatever is needed for the plot. That's not a criticism of the show, as the show's intent was never the nuts and bolts of magic itself.
