The connections between worlds are tenuous at best, and some of the "simple" truths we clutch so frantically to are little better than drift wood on the endless sea of possibility. The young knight Morenth knows this better than most.

Having reached the pinnacle of his order, he has achieved the title of Paladin. As a slayer of all that is evil and unnatural one would think his faith indestructible, but Morenth harbors doubts.

There is a strong religious element in the 1st chapters. It fades away after that.

Don't bother trying to find the story I've crossed over with MLP. It's a story I tried to write a looooong time ago and never finished. I don't know what ever happened to it, but it was a pretty detialled story...about 150 pages long! I may try to recreate the story some day, but until then, I'm putting together profiles on the different Races, Species, and places that existed in the story. (Luckily, I remember most of the details) I'm not saying I'm going to limit myself to those creatures or that I'll use all of them at some point, but you can peek at them if you wish in My Gallery on Deviantart.com

While the story itself is complete, as readers find errors and point them out to me I'll be going back occasionally to fix them. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Assuming his brain was jostled by the accident, they ignore his absurdist notions of not being from this world, and not being a pony at all. However, when he is involved a terrible incident that threatens the lives of his only friends in the world—Ponyville's three most rambunctious fillies—their friends and family begin to pay more credence to his claims.

For Warren Ashland, the clock is ticking as a chain of events that was set into motion the moment he woke in Equestria comes to a vicious head. The time will come when he must decide whether he wishes to stand alone as a human in the Equestrian world, or give it all up for his newfound friends.
