A emergency trip to Zecora's leads Fluttershy to find a strange pony with a straw hat. Unfortunately, he scares Fluttershy off with his talk of eating other animals. The strange pony's arrival in Equestria sets off a chain of events that threaten plunge the peaceful kingdom into an all out war. Twilight and her friends, along with the new pony may be the only ones who can unravel the mysteries that surround Equestria and save it from falling apart.

Surrounded and harried on all sides by the alien and the dangerous, she will find her mettle sorely tested, and find perhaps that the best friends you will ever have in your life are the ones you make when your back is to the wall...

Magnus is the sole survivor of a colony ship headed towards Betelgeuse. The ship gets thrown off course when a huge asteroid slams into the ship, which is then pulled into a black hole.

When the ship exits on the other side, he finds himself alone and in an unfamiliar shape. His only companion, an advanced A.I named Ana keeps him slightly sane during their six thousand year voyage through unknown space in a nearly derelict ship.

Everything changes when they find a small blue planet teeming with life.

Out of unnamed circumstance, a strange pony has arrived into Equestria with no memory of his former self. When discovered by the Elements of Harmony, will they aid him in re-obtaining his memory or will they teach him more about friendship for him to start a new life? Lark Wolfe is 25 years old and he has a terrible fate. Bitten by a werewolf, he now spends his life traveling from town to town as a bard, trying to find a way to cure himself. Something happens, he finds himself in Equestria, and then more things happen. There is going be to a lot of music in this, as he IS a traveling violinist.
