You see, Cador_2004, I started this fic about six months ago.
During the first six or so first chapters, I was a borderline alcoholic. And I did a terrible job of writing fanfiction back then. Not only that, but I didn't give a damn where the story was going. I just wrote. Like a baws.
However, I still had a knack for humor. :o So people still read that garbage and loved it like a three-legged, hairless puppy with a tendency to shiver and twitch. Why? I don't know. It was awful.
Fast forward to chapters 7-12, I had... realized that a lot of people were entertained by my efforts at comedic writing. This made me feel better about myself. Made me drink less and start to give the fiction some serious thought as I wrote it.
Then by the time I get to chapters 13 and 14, I know exactly where I want the story to go and how to get it done! But there was one problem.
My foundation. I looked back at all the chapters. Nearly one-hundred and fifty-thousand words of lesser quality writing. It made me... ... nostalgic and irritable. I knew I could do better.
So here I am. Rewriting the whole damn thing for everypony! Myself included! It's both a point of pride, and a reminder to myself just how much I've improved! That, sir, is worth it! And I want everypony to love and read it!
