Well, both Spawn and Swamp Thing were the main inspirations for those stories (and Ugly Americans for the original concept). Since I can't move the plot to a swamp, or really isolate Trixie from everyone else, Spawn's elements are more present than swamp Thing's. I think I went overboard with the suit actually appearing, but I can at least promise it's both, temporal and purposeful to the story.

I find the concept interesting, and the story well written. I do however find the spawn reference annoying, i'm just not sure why
