After long consideration, Sunset Shimmer decides to return to Equestria to make amends. Everypony is very skeptical about this but Celestia decides on a test of sorts to see if she truly is sorry. She has to live with Twilight and Spike for 1 year, at the end of that year her fate will be decided by Twilight and Spike.

A HUGE shoutout to Love at Sundown by trahzo. That fic gave me the idea of writing a Spike x Sunset fic.

Spike and Scootaloo are college room mates and so close that people thought they were a couple or brother and sister.

But one day, Spike walked in their room and discovers a sight that made him see Scootaloo in a new light.

Spike carries each of the most important ponies in his life home after a long day.

On top of that, Twilight starts to act strange around him, but she's not in heat like he thought she was. Will Spike's heart mend, or will he refuse to open his heart again?

Spike has had a lot of extra time since Twilight and Starlight have become busy with their various duties. It's understandable, but he feels rather useless at times.

After taking a trip to the local hospital, Spike starts volunteering to entertain the fillies and colts in the children's wing. Spreading laughs and smiles to children and families who need encouragement is more fulfilling then he could have ever wished.

But, when a certain blonde-maned pegasus with much less fortunate circumstances takes notice of Spike and just how caring he truly is, how will Spike react?

Rarity is designing a dress for Fluttershy and she asks Spike for advice, only this sparks the question about Fillies so it's upto someone to solve the issue once and for all.

During the course of a sleepover at Ponyville Castle, it is revealed that neither Twilight nor any of her friends have ever kissed a stallion. Things quickly get competitive, and soon Spike, the only male within striking distance, is forced to run for his life.

At first it seems like an ordinary book, but he soon finds out that his longtime friend has been holding some feelings back. But what should Spike do? Should he open his heart to Twilight?
