A person wakes up in the Everfree Forest to find himself as a pony in the world of MLPFIM

So there's this pony. Shadow. He's different. His dark magic is cold, ancient, and forbidden. Now that's what we know, but the real adventure lies in what is still a mystery. Will he be able to learn to live a new life in Ponyville? What happens when two hearts start to beat with a synchronized pulse? All this and more in the great and powerful tale that lies within!

Summoned by a human obsessed unicorn Lyra, Otto von Bismarck appears in Equestria. The ever calm Iron Chancellor befriends many Ponies and encounters many new foes, all while trying to contain the power of his magical Pickelhaube, enchanted by the sinister lord of chaos himself - Discord.

In hopes of wreaking more wonderful chaos, said draconequus summons Montezuma, the Aztec Emperor. The man quickly starts to believe that Trixie is a goddess. Will Lyra and the moustached German Chancellor prevail against the evil forces of the egoistic showmare and her bloodthirsty servant, or will the whole Equestria drown in disharmony? Only time can tell, and the clock is right in Discord's left hand.

Usually when you are killed, you die. Of course there are exceptions to every rule. Usually those exceptions don't end up in a world full of colorful talking ponies with 3 other people from random points of Earth's history, but hey, I can't complain too much. Now if we can just figure out what happened, how we ended up in Equestria, and who is responsible for this mix up...

My day started so simple. I was gonna play guitar in the park, but was chased away by one of the town's local gangs. As I ran, I tripped and somehow ended up in a different world. A world run by ponies! Title inspired by the Alice Cooper song "Lost in America". Note: I plan to finish my other fic soon, I just wanted to start this one.

In the midst of a war between Russia and the U.S., a Navy F/A-18E pilot is shot down over enemy skies. What the pilot discovers is a land entirely unseen before by human eyes. As he slowly copes to it's inhabitants, he will also begin to learn about the realities of war, and the true meaning of home.

This is my first fanfic, so constructive criticism is welcome. Also, If anyone wishes to make a good cover art or suggest something good, then I will make sure to promote the artist and the person who gives the suggestion. Enjoy!

[CANCELED AS OF NOVEMBER 24, 2012] The Cutie Mark Crusaders have really done it this time. In yet another attempt to earn their cutie marks after hearing an adventurous guest speaker in class, they set out for the Everfree forest to search the old castle ruins. After the ground collapses beneath them, they find themselves in a mysterious cavern. The Crusaders soon discover a stallion who was turned to stone by a cockatrice. After taking him back to town, they manage to thaw him out with the help of Twilight Sparkle. The stallion, one Sir Buck "Buckshot" Apple, claims to be a resident of Ponyville... That is, the Ponyville of one thousand years ago. The Crusaders take him to Sweet Apple Acres to meet the current generation of Apples, as well as to give him a tour of modern-day Ponyville. Misadventures ensue as the time-tossed knight, now the oldest living earth pony in Equestria, shows everypony how the champion of the old school rolls, and attempts to find a place for himself in a world that's all too familiar, but all too different at the same time. Sir Buck must come to terms with the events his disappearance gave rise to, as well as how to relate with a family legacy one thousand years in the making.

Meet Joseph Conrad, a regular teenager who has suddenly been thrust into a world of friendship, bright colors, ponies, and mythical beasts. In time he will discover a power only held by humans in this world, a power that will make him godlike. But can he handle the responsibility of this new power? Will he be able to keep his humanity and morals in the face of growing pressure, or will the power go straight to his head? Whether he knows it or not, Joseph will hold the fate of an entire world in his hands, and that fate will become anything he so chooses.

Authors Note: So yeah, this is my second story and I was inspired by a few others to try out a different style. Hopefully it will turn out OK, but be sure to let me know what I can improve on.

I should warn you now that the main OC will be slightly Marie Sue-ish, but this is the type of story that people read to see the main character actually get shit done.
