First OC I've ever liked. Your ideas are great. A few typos here and there but that can be forgiven seeing that I have them regurlarly as well
oh, sometimes it's better to just write a sentance with an exclamation mark instead of typing it in all caps, it's just easier to read that way and caps can cause the overall writing to look a bit ugly. But do whatever you like, it's your story. 
Keep it up, I will be following you closely.

Awesome fic so far, I'd love to see how Shadow tries to keep his secret studies hidden and, if he fail, exactly how the other ponies are gonna react to somepony who is actually a fan of Nightmare Moon.
There's a few errors, but something that really grates me is that, while you're writing from this OC's perspective, you occasionally slip into narrating things that he wouldn't know, like other character's thoughts and feelings. It's not bad, but it definitely couldn't hurt to find yourself an editor.

Thanks for idea, but like, in my mind shadow isn't SUPER super powefulr, just sort of powerful, but very knowledgeable. Think, Twilight sparkle is to Celestia as Shadow is to Luna. But he definitely is going to have a beserker rage at one point

After hours of analysis, I've come to the extremely unobvious conclusion that Twilight likes Shadow.

Who doesn't like to see updates? I just wish it wasn't so rushed. It was kind of difficult to keep track of who's speaking when the only text in the chapter is dialogue. (First fifth of the chapter was 99% character speech)
As a suggestion I'd also re-read the chapter for grammar errors. I spotted at least one big one in there. Also, be careful not to give your character too much power. (Every insane power needs a drawback, as self insertion/wishful thinking can be a fic killer)

113077 i fully understand but than again twilight in her normal state isnt very "powerful" either however dependent on her moods she either
1) when she rages summons an amount of magic powerful enough to speed up the evolution process to the point where she becomes a new being (your twilight just evolved into rapidash)
2) when insane manage a compulsion spell strong enough to confuses an entire town of a speculated population of 250 ponies
and
3) as proven in the cutie mark chronicles episode she simply has too much magic for her to control
so if twilight is to celestia and shadow is to luna that would mean he would have alot of magic, does not know it, and if enraged enough could cause something along the line of making an inpenetrable(sp?) dome of darkness around the town :3 any ways hope the next part comes in soon so MOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The Moonbane are somewhat similar to the Militia from inFAMOUS 2.Both are purists who want to kill people who in the Moonbane's case are supposedly Moon Magic users and in the Militia's case,supposed or real Conduits
