A hundred years in the future, where Equestria is a parliamentary republic, and cutie marks don't exist, a simple run for take out food ends up being more than Detective Sergeant Ana Kelso bargained for when she discovers a certain pink party pony asleep on the bonnet of her car... despite the fact that Pinkie Pie is supposed to have been dead for the last fifty years.

It is the summer of 2020. The popular TV show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" has finished its eighth, and what appears to be final, season. In the wake of increasingly violent attacks by an extremist Internet-based terrorist group, the founders of the popular pony site, Equestria Daily, decide enough is enough. Bronies from all over the world have gathered in a small, abandoned industrial park in the run-down outskirts of Chicago to find the culmination of their dreams: Equestria. Through the wonders of science, they flee Earth for a land of magic, mystery and secrets. They will be weighed, they will be measured... will they be found wanting or will their dreams come true?

The Sequel: Magical Wizard Brony Detectives

I'm Griffin, not much else to it. I've been bullied most of my life, which left me bitter and sarcastic. I'm a closet brony. What? You think I'm just gonna go out and tell a world that hates me that I watch a cartoon intended for little girls? I don't feel like giving the punks at school any more ammo. That's when cosmic powers decide I need to take a trip to my favorite fantasy land. But all is not sunshine and rainbows and it certainly won't be after I'm done with it. Equestria from the point of view of an extremely pissed off teenager, with a twist. Rust, the author of 'The Ballad of Echo the Diamond dog' is awesomesauce enough to have a cross over between our stories. Carnelian is a boss when it comes to art. After an unknown accident Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash awake to find themselves sharing the same body! Now they must struggle to hold themselves together as their world is turned upside down. How long can two ponies exist in a single mind? It’s a race against time as they search for answers before it’s too late. When all is said and done, you’ll never look at Twilight Dash the same way again.

I had a great life. No problems. Good friends. Good family. Good life. I even got to enjoy a bit of adventure on my vacations. Just about all of that went down the tubes when I got zapped into a land of cartoon ponies. I didn't even like cartoons. That's not too bad, but the worst part was that when I apparently got shape shifted I lost my sight. It took a while for me to figure it out, but on the whole, my good life was gone entirely.

What happens when someone who doesn't like My Little Pony ends up in their universe and is stuck there? Basically, a lot of freaking out, swearing, and irresponsible things... Who would have guessed?!

I always wanted to go to Equestria. When I got the chance, I took the deal without reading the fine print. To my surprise, I didn't arrive there as a pony, or even as a human. It seems I get to view this world from a different perspective than what I've imagined.
