Flash Sentry visits Twilight while on vacation in Ponyville for a week. Will Twilight take chance on Flash or will she let him go?

This is my anthology of stories derived from Bad Seed 72's immensely enjoyable tale "What Hath Joined Together".
These are one-shots or vignettes loosely tied up in to the arc of how I thought the story was going to go over the months of her Hiatus in 2014. Do not mind if they are in anachronological order.
I wrote them down in an old diary with a favourite Parker pen, sometimes stopping altogether when I ran out of ink, (I live on an island where the nearest W.H.Smiths's is in Oban, sixty or seventy miles away and one cannot buy ink re-fills in the local shops.)
I am not bothered about this getting downvotes because one of the main characters is Flash Sentry. I think that Brad and Flash Sentry are two separate persons.

Hi. Name's Flash Sentry. I've been training for the Royal Guard and transferred to the Crystal Empire a few years ago. But between you and me, I like somepony. She's smart, kind and she never fails to care for anypony. And...let's just say: I make some really idiotic decisions sometimes.

In all honesty, Twilight Sparkle never had much plans for romance. Sure, she occasionally dreamed about finding that one special somepony, but she never had the chance nor the motivation to actively seek him. I mean, all good things come to those who wait, right?

However, when ‘that one special somepony’ is forcibly shoved right in Twilight’s face, it becomes a whole different ball game.

Before leaving on a two-year tour of duty in Zebrabwe, Flash Sentry pens a letter to Twilight Sparkle, telling her of his failure.

A year has passed since Twilight's coronation as princess, and the only pony who isn't happy during the anniversary party, is Twilight.

Perhaps what she needs is a night to herself, to reflect on why she's afraid to break free from her chains and find happiness.

Or perhaps what she needs is an escape. A way to run away and forget her problems... just for the night.

Luckily, the perfect escape comes to her in the form of a stranger.

Or perhaps this escape is just her next set of chains.

With an order from Shining, and no help from Cadance, Flash sets of on his "mission" to go to Twilight's.
Unfortunately, the situation goes in a completely different direction than he thought.

At first, I didn't really want to write this fic, seeing as how this is probably frowned upon, but I knew others wanted to see some conclusion to all of this, and it was kinda fun writing, so here it is. The last of the "I want to be a" Series...hopefully.

Although Flash Sentry is overjoyed to be engaged to Princess Twilight Sparkle, Celestia withholds her blessing until she can interview the couple. At the interview, Flash is even more surprised than Celestia to find that something is indeed terribly wrong. This revelation leaves him questioning whether he ever really knew either princess.
