Twilight Sparkle was banished from Equestria a long time ago for a crime she didn't commit. The rest of the Mane 6 have been searching for her to tell her that she can return. When they do find Twilight, they realize that the trials of surviving outside Equestria have changed their old friend. Not all the changes are necessarily good.

As they return to Equestria, they must figure out who is opposing them. Shadows lurk in every corner, enemies watching for a single misstep. Not to mention, Twilight's shadows are creeping up on her. But even if they do manage to face the trials and troubles, do they have what it takes to face what awaits them back home?

This story is a sequel to Daybreaker vs Chrysalis

In the aftermath of the battle with the Changelings, everypony is feeling guilty for not heeding Twilight's warnings and hopes for a chance at redemption. But when Daybreaker suddenly returns and kidnaps Twilight, they're going to get a chance much sooner than they thought.

After failing a math test, Anon returns home to her adoptive mother; Twilight, who attempts to teach Anon basic math. Unfortunately for her, math is harder than it appears.
Will Twilight learn a lesson?
Will Discord cause chaos?
Is Princess Celestia too fat?
Will Anon get the cake?

Instead of Celestia fighting Chrysalis first, Twilight does. After Twilight is defeated and poisoned from Chrysalis's bite, Celestia becomes filled with an uncontrollable rage that transforms her into Daybreaker. Once that happens she attacks Chrysalis. Will she be able to stop the changeling, and more importantly, will the heroes be able to get Celestia back as well as save Twilight's life?

After Twilight saved Equestria from Storm King along with her friends, she feels sorry for lying to her friends and mostly screaming at Pinkie Pie. But she isn't the only one who wants to apologize.

The USS Exeter, still damaged after a recent battle, scans a certain planet and finds evidence of much-needed dilithium crystals on the surface. Scans also show it's a pre-warp civilization, so the Prime Directive is in full force.

But they need those crystals, as the nearest starbase is hundreds of lightyears away. They only need a few pounds of them to repair their warp drive, then they can be back on course. How hard could it be to beam in, get the crystals from the primitives, and beam out?

What they don't know about is the white unicorn who's been using them for her dresses.

Celestia and the sun are connected, to the point where when something happens to Celestia everypony can immediately see the sun acting up as well. What few ponies know is that this connection works both ways, and those times when the sun acts up, this has... certain effects on Celestia.

Celestia wants nothing more than to keep it a secret so as few ponies as possible worry about her. But keeping a secret from her stubborn, curious and loving marefriend might prove to be more difficult than she expected.
