It had been one year since Twilight Sparkle vanished in the battle against the evil unicorn Xander, and her friends were still trying to overcome the grief of losing her. On the anniversary of her presumed death, her friends gather at her memorial. What was suppose to be a day of remembrance was shattered by a strange metal object that landed right beside them. Their anger quickly turns to shock as a familiar unicorn emerges... and boy does she have a story to tell.

This is not a Halo fic. It IS however loosely inspired by Halo as well as Star Wars, Mass Effect and several other sci-fi movies, books, and games.

Canterlot... For centuries, Canterlot was the shining gem of Equestria, the pinnacle of pony society. Now, it’s a reminder, a bleak and monolithic warning to the world. 

Changed by the chemical and technological poisons that plague the mountain, an abomination of nature, I wander the greatest disaster Equestria has ever seen. 

... I will escape eventually, and when I do, I hope my friends still see me as Twilight Sparkle, and not the monster that hides among the ruins. 

A terrible curse from the cold deeps of space and the dark recesses of time has destroyed Equestria. Princess Twilight Sparkle is the last surviving member of the royal family, and leads the colts and fillies of Canterlot and Ponyville across the Great Salt Sea to settle a new land. She must pit her magical powers, her leadership abilities and her intellect against terrible dangers and foes, and she does what she would have thought unthinkable in order to give her nation a chance at survival.

This is the first part of a planned four-part epic adventure. It is a dark adventure with violence, danger and intrigue but it is not a splatterfest. There may be some mild shipping involved.

Two years after the fall of the Storm King. Many kingdoms regain their freedom from him.

The Princesses of Equestria worked for those two years in an attempt to seize peace all over the world. Many species came to light as they slowly began to grow again.

But... In the ceremony that was going to bring the world together with an agreement. Twilight was killed.

Many years later, she awake in the mind of a another pony.

But the world seems different. Peace was achieved after all, the world united. Twilight succeed.

An ODST ends up on an un-mapped sector of the universe. He discovers a world that is inhabited by humans while he was tracking down a damaged Covenant Corvette which was carrying a valuable object that belonged to the UNSC.

Equestria has been at war for three years against the Griffin Kingdom. When the alien ship crashes the Equestrians discovered that they are not alone. When the ODST encounters the natives he learns that no matter where he goes war is still the same.

ALL MLP characters Humanized. Equestria and the rest of the world have achieved certain inventions. Cars, Planes, Phones and stuff like that.

Humanised Pathfinder RPG Crossover. Knowledge of Pathfinder not needed.

Canterlot, the glimmering jewel of the civilised world, throne city of the demi-goddess Celestia. No bastion of civilisation can match it and few try. Power is traded, bartered, stolen and forged in a thousand forms in the mad hive of life. Some are born to the power of a name, of a title. Some take power, ripping it from the world around them. Some are even gifted with power, for no better reason than that someone is willing to give it.

Some precious few, however, have power in their blood.

Twilight Sparkle, sorcerer and wizard both, seeks answers to her questions. Mysteries grow in the darkness beneath Canterlot, putting innocents at risk and threatening her home and her loved ones.

Rainbow Dash, thief and daredevil, dreams of the sky. Bound to the earth, she leaps between buildings and bounds across rooftops, forever searching for that elusive, fleeting sensation that plagues her as she stands on nothing and is held aloft no more than that.

Applejack, hunter and warrior, has fought. She has struggled, cutting down the aberrations of the Everfree with blade and arrow alike in a war her family has waged for generations. Fleeing from a failure, she seeks solace in the soft, civilised world. But not everything in Canterlot is as soft as she expected, and the cost of her failure may yet haunt her.

United by power, by ancient ties, the fate of not just a single city but an entire world rests upon their shoulders, and they don't even know it.

Twilight Sparkle was only a filly when Equestria detected the enigmatic Signal. A series of increasingly complex mathematical proofs, the Signal transformed from an intriguing curiosity to reliable evidence of extraequestrian life.

And as it happened, Equestria's exploration of their own solar system was nearly complete. With colonies orbiting every planet and large body, and an asteroid belt filled with miners and prospectors, Twilight's civilization was just about ready to turn its focus outward. The signal was less than ten light-years away, within reach of a daring, experimental voyage. A voyage Twilight Sparkle would lead.

Along with a small crew of the most skilled scientists and engineers Equestria could offer, Twilight is determined to uncover the mystery of the Signal, and brave the final frontier for future generations of Equestrian explorers.

A comment-driven, CYoA story. Please use the links provided in the author's notes of each chapter to vote, rather than the comments.

This story is a creative experiment of mine, one meant to explore the general idea that creativity is often most fostered by restrictions. As a result, I've imposed a number of restrictions on the writing of this story, which I'm stating explicitly here so I can be called out if I break any of them.

1. Brevity is the soul of wit
No chapter may be more than 1000 words long. This wordcount only includes prose, and not the questions/rolls.

2. Every choice matters
When a choice is offered in a chapter, at least one sub-optimal choice must be present, with no indication about which is which other than the prose itself. Every chapter should end with a CYoA-style decision tree when possible.

3. Fate is cruel and the universe is heartless
The decision of the vote must be respected. This means any character could be killed, or the entire story could end in failure, if that's what the votes decide. Where numbers, stats, and randomization appear in the text, these elements are not verisimilitude, but are decided by public diecrolls in my discord server.

Note: Because of the unusual production of this story, its chapters won't be edited in the same way as my usual fare. Feel free to point out any mistakes you encounter.

Sunset Shimmer and Princess Twilight Sparkle have both been plagued by odd dreams. Romantic escapades and tender moments between ponies they don't recognize that all end in tragedy.

Together, they investigate this phenomena, aware of the growing tug their hearts have for one another. The answers they find, however, may threaten to tear them apart.

Trying to patrol the dreams of every pony in Equestria can be stressful. To ease her burden, Luna retools the Tantabus to turn nightmares into good dreams instead of vice versa. Aware of her mistakes from last time, she tests it out thoroughly, making sure there are no unexpected behaviors. And as far as she can tell, there are none.

Except that it's started calling her "Mom".

Faced with the prospect of possibly creating life, Luna seeks out Twilight's advice and assistance. With a little luck, they can get this all sorted out before the sun rises.

One week ago, Twilight Sparkle was crowned the fourth Princess of Equestria. Tonight, Ponyville hosts the 1003rd Summer Sun Celebration, and Princess Celestia and Princess Luna want a vacation. With two fine young princesses like Cadance and Twilight to take over for them, nothing could possibly go wrong.
