If you like Into the Black and think Fluttershy needs more badassery, you might like this. It's only one chpter so far, but it's a nice setup, and I haven't seen Shy in one of these yet. We've had more Twilights than I can count, a few Rainbows, and even a couple Rarities, but this is the first I've seen of the most adorable of the Mane 6. Check it out.
I figured I'd give you guys a sneak peak at the rough draft of chapter 1 of the ItB novel. You can see things are going to be quite different. One change, the character of Aden being renamed Aaron, being for legal reasons, as Aden is the name of the guy that made the cover art of A Mare's Tale.

So, I had an interesting idea. I want to rewrite Into the Black as a legitimate novel, not a fan fiction. The role of Twilight would be replaced by a young sorceress from King Aurthur's Court, serving under Merlin. The intro will be similar, except Xander's spell will throw them through time as well as space. Obviously, this would also mean there will be no returning home for her. I must admit, the reception Nightmare's Dream and Grey Hat have received is quite disappointing. After spending more than a year and a half working on the sequels, taking time away from my other fics, I was expecting at least a few hundred of the seventeen hundred followers of ItB to follow the sequels. Instead, I have 116 following Nightmare's Dream, and Journeyman has only 31 following Grey Hat.
A Destiny cross-over that's only one chapter at the moment, but already shows tons of promise. Despite the good writing, and already well fleshed out characters (for less than 4k words), it only has 13 likes at the time I write this. Give the story some love, if you have time.
So, I've been on a major Destiny binge. Anyone have it on PS3? I'm looking for people for raid teams.
