I have grown to expect the unexpected. On the Island of Sodor, the absurd and supernatural are considered normal. Ghosts of engines and spiteful brake vans, mythical creatures causing all manner of hell on the Skarloey Railway, a potentially rabid dog putting Sodor in the center of a political conflict, and much, much more. Sounds almost exciting, doesn't it?

What I, Edward of the North Western Railway, never expected, not in my entire life, was appearing in a different world where humans have been replaced with ponies, not to mention the fantasy aspects involved.

If I told you that I had experienced stuff even more absurd than that, would you believe me?

Twilight and her friends and family are in the US to ride on the first run of Union Pacific Big Boy No: 4014 the only operating 4000 class 4-8-8-4 Big Boy locomotive on the Union Pacific's steam fleet on its way to Ogden, Utah to celebrate the completion of America's first Transcontinental Railroad. Since Flash and Twilight were newly weds the couple are about to discovery what makes American passenger train travel so magical.

This fanfic was made in 2019 and it is made as a tribute and a salute to the Union Pacific Railroad and the UP's steam crew for doing the impossible. Bringing back one of their Big Boy locomotives for excursion service and the 4014 will inspire the next generation to see what made America into the country it is today.

Twilight and Sunset get betrayed by their friends and Celestia after making Cadence upset before her wedding. Feeling abandoned Twilight and Sunset teleported back to Ponyville. Soon a red-violet alicorn appears in the Library and offers Twilight to come with her to her home.

Mavis, the quarry diesel, has been locked up in the shed for causing a serious accident with some trucks. She wants a chance to prove herself useful again.

When the Fat Controller visits her with important news, it looks like her chance has come, but not quite like she expected. He's having her turned into a pony and sending her to Equestria to work on Sweet Apple Acres for a week. If all goes well, he'll put her to work in the quarry again when she returns.

Can the headstrong diesel engine prove her worth as a pony? Of course she can! Just as soon as she gets used to moving on her own. And eating and drinking. And makes sense of the funny feeling she gets in her chest whenever she meets that big, red stallion...

This story is a sequel to Thomas & Equestria Girls: Welcome to Canterlot High

A new threat has arrived on the Island of Sodor with intentions that put steam engines in extreme danger. This forces Thomas and his friends to seek the help of their friends from Canterlot High. Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, and the rest take on the task and travel to Sodor. Through their odd and challenging journey, they'll discover new things about Thomas' home, meet some new friends, and thwart an old foe's schemes before Sodor, Canterlot, and beyond fall under their spell.

Its a story that tackles the struggles of keeping up with and finding purpose in an ever changing society, how important our past can reshape the future, and finding the courage to take a stand and become a true leader.

The steam engine, for its size, is the most powerful vehicle on land. And the engines of the NWR are part of the power behind the docks, industries and branchlines that make up the world-renowned Island of Sodor.

And Ponies, for their size, are some of the most powerful creatures known to man. And 6 special citizens of Ponyville are the power behind the magic and friendship that make up the peaceful land of Equestria.

The Canterlot And Central Territory Railway was founded in 1918 after a government-funded merger of the Appleloosa and Dodge Junction Railway, Canterlot National Railway and Ghastly Gorge Narrow Gauge Railway. The dedicated engines take their passengers and freight to their destinations, come rain or shine. It was their heyday.

But as decades roll by, as steam engines were deemed outdated, the engines find themselves spread thinly as their friends were decommissioned and scrapped. Other railways abandoned steam power in favour of modern, more powerful diesel and electric locomotives. But the engines of the Canterlot And Central Territory Railway are still as dedicated and determined to prove their worth, until the end of time.

Crossover with the Thomas & Friends television series created by Britt Allcroft and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic created by Lauren Faust, both shows belong to their respective owners.

Everyone knows (or should know) the AU story from "Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure" where Thomas the Tank Engine runs away from Sodor after the dynamite incident, deciding to go to York. In this version, however, he ends up in Equestria, where he makes new friends in the Mane 6, as well as catching the eye of a certain alicorn.
