Not So Harmless Villain

It always amazes me when a usually harmless villain is shown just how "harmless" he/she really is. Whether it's not being held back, given the right weapons, or just being pushed over the edge, Eggman in Sonic Lost World.

One of my favorite examples of "Even Evil Has Standards" is Dr. Forrester in Mystery Science Theater 3000.

To review, in case you're unfamiliar with the character: He is a mad scientist who kidnaps a man named Joel and forces him to watch the worst movies ever made, hoping to find one bad enough to drive him and his robot companions insane, so that he can then use it to do the same to the rest of the world and take it over. He repeatedly demonstrates throughout the show how demented and diabolical he is (once he even drains his assistant's blood and replaces it with radiator fluid), and in his final episode tries to kill Mike (Joel's replacement) and the robots.

However, Manos: The Hands of Fate was so bad even Forrester felt he went too far and apologized for it behind his assistant's back (though Frank earlier did the same thing).
