When her siblings get trapped inside a castle belonging to a hideous dragon, Applejack sacrifices her freedom for theirs. At first, she wanted nothing to do with him, but as time goes on, she sees that there's more to him than meets the eye. And the dragon sees that this beautiful cowgirl could be the one to free from his curse and his hurtful past.

Starlight Glimmer, a troubled pony who was reformed and now seems to live a happy life with Twilight as her teacher and friend. Her life seems to be perfect, but what's going on inside her mind? With ponies not giving her a chance and still changing the details from her past to make it worse, the ponies start to get to Starlight and soon awful thoughts start to plague her mind.

We all know what happened when newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle went through the enchanted mirror that led her to a world parallel to Equestria to retrieve her crown stolen by Sunset Shimmer. But, what if she hadn't gone through alone?

What if instead of Spike, her friends defied Celestia's warning and followed her into the other world? Would things really be that disastrous, or can this group of friends bring back together a different group of friends, who remind them of ponies, or creatures, back home in Equestria, or seem somewhat familiar? And will they also help the Mane 6 stop Sunset Shimmer from accomplishing whatever plan she's scheming?

On the way back from Fluttershy's house, Starlight takes notice of a young filly under a tree and soon discovers that she is without any known parents. Starlight wants to take care of the poor orphan, but is uncertain if she has the qualities that it takes to be a 'mother'.

Twilight Sparkle has always been known to forgive easily. Many of the worst threats to Equestria have gone unchecked after Twilight forgave them for their actions. But when Starlight Glimmer, a former enemy of Equestria, causes a major accident that endangers lives, Princess Celestia has no choice but to review and approve a plan to implement a checks and balances system against former antagonists—the Reformed Antagonist Regulation Act.

The introduction of RARA splits the Mane Six, and many Equestrians, into two factions. Supporting a former villain's right to choose their own destinies is Princess Twilight Sparkle. Supporting a system of accountability and a fail-safe for potential relapse is Twilight's former friend, Moon Dancer.

Friendships are tested, loyalties are questioned and switched, revenge burns in the air, and all the while, a new threat pulls strings in the background, ready to destabilize Twilight and her friends' bonds forever.

Knowing what its like for everyone to hate you is all too familiar for Sunset Shimmer. Since the Fall Formal and Battle of the Bands, Sunset thought that she was forgiven. That her past was all behind her. But when a MyStable user named Anon-A-Miss appears and starts posting everyone's personal secrets, all fingers are pointed at Sunset. Now the entire school hates her again. Even her friends believe she's guilty. Will Sunset be able to overcome this and prove her innocence? Or will she admit defeat and lose all hope in friendship? Sunset Shimmer never really had a childhood or someone to teach her what she needs to know. So, after the fall formal, Sunset is faced with changes she is not yet ready for: friends and family who are willing to show her just what she's been missing. Will she accept accept this newfound solace or will her fears and insecurities get the better of her? Will she even have a choice?

Strife has been building between Princess Celestia and Princess Luna for years, differences in opinion on ruling have finally caused them to part ways. Realizing that Princess Luna and Princess Celestia aren't perfect, and have both made questionable choices, even if they have all turned out alright, and seeing the argument that caused the final rift between the sisters have led Twilight to also succeed from Equestria.

Now Twilight must rally the ponies of Equestria under her banner, and hope to bring peace and harmony to a land that is beginning to shatter from the strain of a three-way civil war.

It is a special day in Canterlot as the mane 6 along with Starlight Glimmer celiberate Princess Celestia's birthday. But when an evil pony comes and captures all four of the princesses it's up to Starlight to make the most important decision of her life. As she is called by the map to help the princesses by sacrificing her self to stay with the pony. Will she be trapped by the pony forever or will she be able to show him friendship or maybe something more like love.
