First bit of news that's not necessarily MLP related, but something I want to share nonetheless.

That may sound like the opening to a joke, but it is in fact a collaborative story! I helped contribute to the latest chapter of a story by Wanderer D, Sunset's Isekai. It's a bit more Nyx in an unexpected way, and hopeful something everyone can enjoy for what it is. Consider it another Glimpse.
Bronycon 2019 is so very close now, and I'm happy to say that my efforts to contribute to the awesomeness of this final Bronycon have been successful.
For Aquaman's Golden Oaks Bookstore, I will be providing not one, not two, but three physical books! Three hardcover books based on the polls taken once upon a time through another blog post. Get more details and see a preview of the covers below!
Bronycon draws ever closers, and I've been working hard to prepare 2 of the anthologies that were the highest voted from the last pole I did. In case I never confirmed the results, the winning anthologies were:
- The Life and Times of Nyx (Past Sins Sequel Anthology)
- Face The Dark (The Dark Story Anthology)
So, as some folks have been messaging over the past few days, a certain website has put up for purchase new copies of Past Sins.
For those who are fans of Past Sins, from a long time ago or just recently, I have to call your attention once more to the comic being done by SaturnStar14. For over two years now she has dedicated a wondrous amount of time and energy to bring Past Sins into a visual medium. She's made more progress on a comic version of Past Sins than anyone else before, and now, today, she
Lots of folks doing this, but I promise I won't be too long winded. I stand amongst those that enjoyed the finally. Yes, perhaps interpretation of the time travel was simplified, but it gave us wonderful glimpses into the consequences of the adventures failed if our favorite ponies never became friends. My only criticism was related to the revelation Starlight's motivation, but I've never been too critical of the show. Everything has its ups and downs, its
So, lot of things to discuss really quickly here today. First, I'll be at Everfree NW this weekend. I'll be on a total of four panels and, because Everfree NW is that kind of awesome, I actually have a slot in the autograph room as well. Don't know how many people will actually come, but I'm going to try and have a little something for those who do.
Well, was going to write this blog post when the story was actually out of the submission process. EQD, however, posted their story update much earlier than I would have anticipated, just going to have to play catch up.
Yes, as I hinted towards a while ago, there is a new Past Sins related story.
It's getting to be that time of year again. The convention circuits are starting up for spring and summer and with Season 5 on the horizion, the hype is real.
With the dawning of a new year, I'd like to highlight some of the things that have popped up around Past Sins in recent months. Partially because these folks deserve some attention, and also because I'm using it as a smoke screen while I continue to work on my next story. So head on below the page break to see some cool things from around the net folks have made for/about Past Sins and it's related stories.
I hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas. I know I usually have some story to celebrate the season, and I do have something I'm working on. It's something a lot of you have been asking for, and today I think I finally got around the bit of mental block that was giving me some trouble.
So, I leave you all this. Expect a new Nyx related story in the New Year.
Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year.
So, just this past summer the sign-up sheet went out for the 2nd edition of Past Sins. This time, the books were going to be printed in Poland rather than the USA, and the shipping was going to be handled by Equestria Publications team member Jakub instead of Illustrious Q. The books were also going to be "standard editions." Unlike the 1st Edition, they weren't going to have a fan-art section nor would they include the short-story "First Hours."
Bronycon looms just next week, and I look forward to the fact I once again get to attend this year. So I hope to see lots of friends and to meet anyone new. One person asked in e-mail if I'd be willing to sign his/her copy of Past Sins while I'm there. I'm totally cool with doing that for anyone that asks, just be sure to have a pen since there is no guarantee I'll remember to have one.
So, ladies and gentlemen of the internet, let me impart on you some knowledge before I get to the real meat of this blog. Trust me, it will help fill you in on the context.
You people are awesome, you know that. You are crazy as well. I'll let each individual person decide if they are awesomely crazy or crazily awesome.
Hey y'all, just letting you know about an interview I did with Crystal Heart Entertainment. They're a group who is trying to provide new members of our community with informative videos. They talk about older pillars of the community when it comes to stories, music, art, and things in general. The interview I did with them is embedded below, but you should go check out their other videos as well.
I hope you give your mom a call, hug, or whatever tradition your family has. Now, I share a few Past Sins related pictures to celebrate the day.
Hey, everyone. This is a little pulse of life as well as update for things. First, for those waiting on "From The Depths", the next chapter has been written for a while but editors have been too busy to get around to it until a few days ago. (I know many folks here know what college is like near the end of the semester.) Hopefully, it will be ready to go up sometime next week.
First, I'm happy to say I had a blast at Babscon. The VA panels were great. Saturday's especially notable for the large cast of actors and actresses as well as Peter New, who was dressed as a princess in a big red dress. I also enjoyed a few hours of hanging out with many of the other authors that attended the panel. Got some good swag, met with some community friends. Also, Past Sins was nominated in the con's Goldie Awards (not sure if I'm spelling it right.) Very cool thing, even if Past
