For one so young to be alone such as her would be to throw a child over a cliff. Darkness would surely take her and in the end starvation end her. She was alone in the world, nobody to care for her anymore, and just weeks after a tragedy that led her to this state. She was lost in the world, awaiting a fate she had no concept of.

She was wild when she found her, a little girl in rags, afraid of contact with strangers, with people who had showed her mistreatment since she had come to be homeless and in poverty. Still she took her in, and cared for her. They formed a bond that could be unbroken. A home provided, a person to count on, talk to, and care for her. Somebody to love her for who she is.

This is NOT supposed to be a rewrite or copy of Past Sins, some events in the first few chapters may be similar, or have some elements that mirror some of the events. Later chapters will be very different. Please be open minded.

My week has gone from bad to worse. First I get a horrible cold that leaves me bedridden and unable to sleep for the last two nights. Then, as I was listening to a reading of a fanfic, I suddenly find myself in the Everfree Forest, in the body of a Changeling, feeling like my whole body is on fire.

Worse, I've apparently got a egg entrusted to me by Chrysalis from before the invasion that's about to hatch and it's a Royal Egg.

Well, at least I don't have to worry about my cold anymore.

This story is a sequel to Sparkles and Scales

Twilight Sparkle may have achieved her dream of getting into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns (even after being turned into a dragon), and became the personal student of the Princess herself, but those are only the first steps on a much longer road.

Still ahead of her are her first days at her new school, trying to make new friends, understanding her changed biology, being a big sister, and discovering just what some ponies think of her new species.

She has a long way to go before she can rediscover the Elements of Harmony. These are just some of the events on the way.

It has been said that everyone deserves a second chance. It could be a decision made, a choice to make, or even to live again. Usually the last one is literal in the sense of having only one life to live. Unless you're one of the rare, lucky people who get a chance to live another life. I happened to be one of those few lucky people to be reborn again. Oddly enough, it happened on a Tuesday, a day that was going to be a normal, boring day. As to why I was picked... well, you just have to sit back and listen as I tell you my story of being born into a different life from the one before. The original plans were to release this in the first week in July, but decided to release it during Pride Month as a tribute to all the same sex parents out there.

It started off simply enough, Applejack's embarrassing childhood nickname. Everyone had one, Sunset's was Little Firestarter. The group ignored it, even when students take it a step forward and start teasing the farmer about it.

However the next day, after a sleepover at Rarity's involved all of them dressing up in silly costumes the fashionista had made, things got worse. Those pictures were posted online, and the poster, Anon-A-Miss, also left derogatory comments.

Those pictures came from Sunset's phone, but she doesn't remember posting them. What's going on?
