For the whole of April, Heartbreak has been confined to the library under Twilight’s orders. By the time May starts, being cooped up is starting to give her a serious case of cabin fever. Heartbreak wants some open space, some fresh air and a bit of grass under her hooves. Twilight wants Heartbreak to learn a bit more discipline and honesty about things. The two would butt heads, but Twilight finds a compromise.
Send her off to help Applejack with the first season’s apple harvest!
But how will a pony like Applejack, whose motto is, “Honesty is the Best Policy,” deal with a pony like Heartbreak, who has wrapped herself up in webs upon webs of lies just to cope with her situation?

In the wake of the interrupted wedding of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, the Royal Guard went on a changeling hunt, fanning out throughout Equestria to find any changelings living amongst ponykind. The captured changelings have been confined to a guard barracks in Canterlot.

Meanwhile Princess Celestia is finding herself swamped with petitions from ponies across Equestria asking for amnesty for their changeling friends, colleagues, and lovers. Princess Luna, who has been itching to regain some responsibility since her return, offers to take on the petitioners... and the changelings.

Epiphany's mother is an easy-going mare in tune with the universe and the balance of magic, who needs magic glasses to see the world the way everyone else does.

Epiphany's father is an off-the-wall draconequiis, who runs circles around the laws of physics and spreads chaos wherever he goes because that's what he is.

As for what Epiphany is... well, it's rather complicated.

After the demise of King Sombra, the royal sisters seized his personal writings for study and eventually to seal them away. However, half of his journal is stolen by Golden Jubilee, a sorceress from the secretive organization called the Horizon Walkers. Team Trixie is hired to recover this journal before the Walkers can learn of the dark knowledge the late king had written within them.

As the investigation brings Trixie close to the Walkers, she uncovers how Golden knew of the hidden half of the journal and just what reason the Walkers want the second half. Trixie must confront a past fear as the trail leads her to an old artifact she is uncomfortably familiar with - The Alicorn Amulet.

After two zebra stallions accuse Zecora of murdering their brother, she reveals her past to Twilight.
