I had heard the rumors about the disappearances. I thought they were a hoax. You see there is a rumor about people dressing up as villains at conventions that suddenly vanish in a flash of light. So what. that's impossible just a gimmick the convention promoters use to make people feel hardcore about going to conventions. Boy I was wrong. One moment I am about to tear a Brony a new one the next I'm about to tear A Pony a new one. Now I look like and sound like a cartoon villain and I'm being treated like one too. My solution Burn everything to the ground and have a good time doing it.

Sergeant Star Strider, a regular hoofsoldier marched into Vesapolis at the close of the Great Changeling-Equestrian War, is held at gunpoint by a young changeling. Yet, when she looks into his eyes, all she can see is her own reflection.

Well, I was shot. I was shot when I pushed my best and only friend out of the way of a murderous student's gun. And because I was shot, I gained the powers of a god. I became the Cosmic King, the ruler of the multiverse. But because I couldn't control my powers, I split myself up, sending each version of myself to a different universe. One of those happened to be Equestria.

Now, I'm a god surrounded by a science crazy pony who wants nothing more than to break every law trying to understand me, the student-turned-god that shot me and wants revenge for me beating him up, my power hungry predecessor, an evil organization that wants my power to take over the world, a robot version of myself with all my powers and access to each of my weaknesses, and chimeras that constantly attack me.

Well, my name's Connor, and I'm the Cosmic King, and if any of those monsters think they can harm this universe, they have another thing coming.

2000 years ago, Equestria was met with Nightmare, the living incarnation of the cursed sword, Soul Edge.

By that, you mean 'a guy went to a convention in an awesome costume and ended up getting bit in the tail for it'.

He was defeated, and sealed in stone for all of eternity.

Which sucked, by the way.

But now, he is free.

Whoo-hoo!

But much to his surprise, he is not alone.

Wait, what?

For now he is greeted with five faces that are… quite curious, to say the least.

To say the least. I wasn't expecting a quintet of fools to follow me to Candy Land.

It has been 800 years or so since a new layer of the dream realm formed, and in those 800 years a new visitor to Equis has been learning about the world from those inhabitants whom it can pull into it's realm.

Much to the surprise of Luna, this being is more than meets the eye and is certainly powerful, to an extent. Do they mean any harm, or do they have something more sinister planned? there is only one way to find out...

This story contains inspiration from bloodborne and in turn, H.P.Lovecraft with my own twists and changes to make it more my own.
spoilers for later chapters: this will be revealed as a human in equestria, though not via some kind of merchant or some such. death, gore, violence and swearing tags are for what will likely come in the future.

Legends speak of a powerful Demon who reigned over all the land. With his mighty sword, he crushed all opposition with despair. Only through the power of the Essences of Concord was the Demon able to be defeated.

A thousand years later, the Demon shows signs of reawakening. As the Humans, Elves, and Dwarves join together in an alliance to fight the Demon's armies, six young heroes have been chosen to recollect the Essences of Concord and seal the Demon once more.

Meanwhile, a draconequus naps and two sisters play.

I appeared in Equestria one day, somehow transforming into my OC as well. Not wanting to risk the mane six discovering they're fictional characters in a fictional world, I've been avoiding Ponyville and spent my time trying to find a way home. Now that I accidentally ended up in Ponyville, I'll have to work harder than ever to keep my secret under wraps. But you can't keep secrets forever, and it's a lot harder to deal with when you're being plagued with nightmarish visions...

Self-insert, swearing, eventually crosses over with Doom 3, mild gore in later chapters.
