A young girl, having been robbed of her childhood and very life by illness finds herself given a second chance in a strange world and with an even stranger body. With a new life, family, and even a brother, she tries to cope with the bizarre world she's found herself in while also trying to embrace her role and become worthy of the gift she has been given.
Being a princess can be hard however, even if it's only an honorary title, especially when you're the twin sister of Prince Blueblood.

On Earth, a world-wide apocalypse has struck, making most of the human population either become infected or lose their life to the illness. Zombies now have control of most of the towns and cities, where they roam in search of their next prey, while the remaining human survivors are gathering supplies and weapons to not only take down the undead, but also each other, willing to survive by any means necessary.
However, on one fateful day, one of these humans that had been struggling with staying safe comes across a strange, cute creature that he had never seen before: it was a pony. This pony was very colorful, with her rainbow mane and tail, aqua-colored coat and nice, magenta eyes, but most importantly, wings. Will this make his fate change for the better or the worse?

(This story is heavily based not on DayZ, but on Apocalypse Rising, the counterpart made on the game website ROBLOX. I will be following the map of Reimagined very closely if you wish to know what all the locations are.)

Twilight Sparkle is a changeling queen. She has found herself back at the old hive, with old memories... and new opportunities. Shining Armor and Princess Cadance had been having little trouble keeping their alicorn foal's magic under control, and they'd been fortunate enough thus far in having at least one parent always by Flurry Heart's side should the enchantment ever wear off somehow, just in case. There would soon come a time, though, when both Cadance and Shining Armor would have no other choice but to be away from the Crystal Empire at the same time. Because of this, they would need to find Princess Flurry Heart a babysitter as soon as possible.

There is only one way of determining who gets the honor of such a title, and Trixie is unlucky enough to be selected by the crystal heart itself.

It moves quietly through the snow, stalking Marble whenever she's alone. Her family doesn't believe her, but she knows a giant maw roams the snow-covered forests of the Rock Farm Woods.
