Side Story of: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Off the Record

After finding out a horrible secret concerning Rainbow Dash, Alex loses face, and makes the decision to run away back to earth, in hopes of recovering from the pain he had been caused, and so he could catch up with the family he had deserted four years before.

However, while studying to finally finish the high school he had skipped out on, he finds himself being dragged back to that magical pony world, and the pain it now represents to him.

The inner conflict boils down to a tug of war between his feelings, and his duties.

Also, it doesn't help that he has a jackass in his head that won't stop talking.

But, sometimes you need to smile through the pain, and think about the people that need you. Plain and simple.

Twilight Sparkle always knew she was different from other ponies. How will her friends react when they find out the most magical unicorn in all Equestria isn't even a pony? Inspired in part by Directive: Grow by Dragon Dreaming (mostly the cover art) and the cover art for Gundam Twilight: An Anime Parody by Aegis Shield

It's that time of year again at Ponyville Elementary, with Family Appreciation Day. Little Apple Bloom is feeling left in the dust yet again, as all of her immediate family members are too busy to come in to speak. The little filly is left with only one other option:

Rainbow Dash finds herself wrenched apart by conflicting loyalties. Fluttershy gains, and loses, a pet. Applejack relates to somebody. Spike will execute a cunning scheme, but finds himself torn between the two unicorns that matter the most to him. Pinkie Pie explains why "Cupcakes" is a silly fanfic and tries to quell bloodlust with pineapple inside-out cake.
Friendships will be tested. Hearts will be broken. Secrets will be revealed. Also, magic kindergarten.

When humans come to Equestria, it's not the ponies that should be afraid.

Cadence is the most popular girl in school. Shining isn't really popular at all. But when Cadence shows an interest in watching his sister, their worlds collide and suddenly they realize they aren't so different after all -with Twilight stuck in the middle of it.

After an alarming trip through a black hole in his fridge, Nigel M. Chalmers finds himself in a colourful peaceful country populated with a throng of friendly ponies... in the body of one of their nation's worst enemies. Of course it all goes to pot.

Follow him as he attempts to make sense of his new body, makes new friends and maybe even finds love...
Or not, after all this is Nigel we're talking about, all he's probably going to do is insult everyone and drive everyone insane.

Follow the gripping tale of action, comedy and romance.

Will Nigel make it back home in time for the office Christmas party? Will he avoid a painful death at the hooves of multi-coloured Equines? Will he finally be re-united with his beloved cheesecake?

You can only find out by reading this fic, so fasten your seatbelts and prepare to get wrecked.

The Reading of Chapter One

I wrote this fic as a side project to Nigel M Chalmers, Emperor and saviour-or-destroyer to try my hand at a transformation story. To all of you who hate the whole "Turned into a pony and makes friends with everyone" I'm going to shatter your misgivings like 300 kilograms of armoured Biped smashes a window. There will be violence in later chapters but for now it's just pure comedy.

King Sombra survived his defeat, but just. By the time he returned to form, Twilight became the newest princess of Equestria and the Crystal Empire was restored to its former glory.

He cannot take over Equestria the same way he tried before, but he has a card up his sleeve. Twilight won't see it coming, and Sombra might gain a powerful ally in the process.

The days of harmony are dead and gone, and all the world will be forced to mobilize against the might of the Nightmare Hordes. Will they prevail in the faces of Wrath and Despair? Do they have any hope of someday returning to a time of peace and love?
