Every now and then, I log onto FIMFiction for no reason other than to see my notifications. See what stories got new favorites. Find out who my new followers are. And there was a trend I noticed pretty fast.

All of my new favorites, as in most of them for at least a month, were for Kiss of the Dark.

Um...I'm curious why. I know it's popular and my second most viewed story below Pinkie Pie Discovers Coffee, but...yeah, I'm still curious why that is.

Well...not technically a year, but close enough :P

So it's been a little over a year when I cancelled Kiss of the Dark. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to gain by talking about it, or even if there's going to be a big new insight into the situation now, but I feel compelled to say SOMETHING about it, given it was a big event in my life and one that might still have some influence on me.

Well, here we go. LOTD has been officially submitted to the site, and its waiting for approval.

But I think I should say something big. As you can guess from the title, I hit another big milestone. 100 blog posts...

I'm pretty sure most of them were story updates, but nevertheless its surprising that I made that many blog posts over the years. It feels...huge for me.

I'm both excited and nervous about this, so here we go.

I just finished writing the first chapter to Legacy of the Dark. Its going to need some editing work, of course, but its finished with the writing stage. And like I said, it will be the first of four chapters.

I'll try to get the story uploaded tomorrow, which looks like it will be happening.

You guys were REALLY happy when I said I was going to do a sequel to KOTD. Like really happy. And in the end, so was I. With those in mind, I'm going to go forward with a sequel after all.

Keep in mind that I may not make it still. Just that I'm actively thinking about doing one.

If I did one, it would be shorter than the first one, five chapters at most. It would be called Legacy of the Dark, and it would be slice of life with some sad elements to it.
