That creature made every single thing in the facility frightened, and they knew they couldn't do a thing about it. So what happens when he vanishes without a trace? Chaos. Absolute chaos. But this isn't about what happened there; this is about what happens to where he was transported. Which, coincidentally, is precisely the same thing.
