Thousands of years after the Great Sundering, many races that were, had been banished from the world by a Goddess. Now the Wonderious Kingdom of Alicornia rules, peace and tranquilty everywhere, and no possibly way for any evils to tear it down.

But deep in a frozen cave, lay the last Human, who has now been found by a gray creature and taken in to become, the newest Overlord!

Because Evil Always Finds A Way.

(Note: If you are familiar with another story by the name of "Evil Always Finds a Way", I am telling you that my story was released many months before that one. The author of that one just didn't realized his title name was already taken. Both stories are only similar by name, nothing else.)

Throughout history, ruins and relics have been lost to the sands of time. Most of these are artifacts and places of great value and import, but what if there were some things that were never meant to be found? Artifacts and ruins so evil, their mere presence corrupts the most innocent of souls to the promises of power. One such artifact is sought by Celestia herself, but for purely innocent intentions:
The Overlord's Armor.
This relic was thought to have belonged to an ancient being, who ruled as god among the ancient races of men, elves, and dwarves, and commanded an army of powerful minions to do his bidding. Needless to say, His armor was said to be the source of his dark power, and has been long sought after by collectors and historians for years, but no lead was ever found... Until now. Now, commissioned by the princess herself to find this relic, Twilight and her friends go two the barren wastelands of the overlord's old tower to find his tomb, and his armor with it... But sometimes, Power and riches can come with a very evil price...

Many of these so-called ponies believe they were the first to discover the land that is now known as Equestria. They were wrong, of course. Those idiotic Humans, inebriated Dwarves, and the pitiful vomit-inducing, tree hugging, frolicking Elves littered the landscape first all the while living their simple, boring lives. The ponies and the other smattering of races moved here over time from some other land. If they were still here, the various original races meeting the ponies would have made for a bit of a chaotic first contact considering they used dumber cousins of the ponies as labor and mounts. It's too bad that didn't happen, oh I could have enjoyed watching that carnage with a nice bowl of salamander eyeballs.

But, well, one or one-hundred powerful wizards attempting magic beyond their capabilities on magical artifacts beyond their comprehension tend to make things go... explodey. In a single snap of my claws the entire human race, and all of the other "intelligent" races as well, were simply gone. Vaporized in a magical wave of energy. The landscape left even more magically scarred than when the Tower Heart of the old Dark Tower went kaboom. We minions fled back to the Netherworld from whence we came and waited for the land to heal, and hopefully for some other race capable of thought to come knocking at its gates.

We waited a long time for that and now we should really get around to finding a new Master, none of the races showed any real promise so we need to do this ourselves. Giblet seems to have found something promising while digging around the cave of a local dragon (the dragons seem to have gotten smarter too), so I'll have to go give that a look-see and pray to Darkness nothing weird comes out of it.

But as I always say... Evil always finds a way.

The remake of my old work. Although that features the Elements of Insanity, this story is just a spin off and took place before Season 5 finale. The story will be different while retaining some similarities.

Two months after the victory over of the Subjects, the Elements of Insanity were building a portal to return to Equestria when their leader, Brutalight Sparcake, had nightmare about a mysterious bipedal, pony-like, demonic creature being able to obliterate them, which was more a vision than just a dream. Unbeknownst to them, Painset Shimmercake and Magic Mare managed to survive and were able to arrive in Equestria before them, just in time to plot their vengeance against them and Princess Celestia as well.

Brutalight wasn't too far from the truth...

In the human world, a brony bashing troll and former delinquent leader named Alex Phirrel, was framed one of his classmates for a crime that he didn't commit. That resulted him to be put under probation and transferred into a delinquent school. One night, when he was caught as he was investigating the whereabouts of a friend of his in his new school, a hermetic entity transported him, you guessed, in Equestria in pony form.

And just screw him over, Alex was also possessed by some ghost and got some bizarre powers and was tasked by the same entity to take down the Elements of Insanity in exchange for his freedom. Initially, he refused to accept his new situation until he got killed. At that point, the ghost who resided inside him resurrected him and turned him into a powerful overlord. He ended up liking it. With his rise, his villainous quest begins.

Will Alex succeed in this absurd quest? Will the Elements of Insanity being able to defeat a villain with that kind of power? And more importantly, what is the entity's real motivation to involve the boy into this?

Like with my previous work, if you don't know anything about the Elements of Insanity, check this channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheInvertedShadow

MLP belong to Hasbro.
Elements of Insanity and other characters belongs to Inverted-Shadow, KaverenTheHunter08 and FlammingHammer97.

Before this thing, let me warn you:

1) Since that story will be like the other one, I will put the Death, Gore and Violence tag, with the exception to tone them down a little bit.

2) Due to the Elements of Insanity being featured, lets just say that the Comedy tag were pretty much mandatory, thought the only preoccupation was how I am going to handle it since the main character has few, sometime.

3) Just to make things clear, one of the pony freaks that was present in my previous story is included in this one as well, leaving the other ones being replaced by someone else.

Twilight is called on to be a political Emissary to the far northern kingdoms. Due to the attacks from Tirek and the others, the land borders have been altered. Several miles of land that was once considered to be a part of Equestria is now within the borders of their northern neighbors. It is ruled solely by a pony that is as unwavering as steel. Twilight is tasked with being an emissary to this kingdom and try to negotiate to have him withdraw his claim to the territory. Meeting him is going to change everything she knows about how an Overlord rules his ponies. She finds out just how politics works for him and how he treats his subjects. She reminds herself to keep an open mind and treat him as she would any other. She is not prepared for what she finds. A stallion that rules alone. One that is more complex than she realized. One that if offended could spell disaster for Equestria itself. Hunter Flame is about to make her realize that nothing is as simple as she thinks it is.

Equestria, a land of peace and prosperity, ruled by the wise Princess Celestia and Luna. Or, that's what it use to be. Now its hardly peaceful, and its hardly prosperous. Well, unless you have a horn or live on the top; or in some cases the clouds.

And as for Celestia and Luna? Well no one knows where they went. They weren't dead, the sun and the moon still rose and set, but they certainly weren't around to lead. So who was in charge? Why Blueblood of course, and his council of friends. So no worries.

And as for peace, well, we won't get into all the politics. Lets just say that, ambitions and insults go a long way towards peace and war. Especially when one doesn't need to worry anymore about keeping the sun and moon on their daily schedule; or the magical cure all known as the Elements of Harmony.

Yes Equestria was in a sorry state, or better off depending on who you asked. It needed a hero, or maybe....

...maybe it needs.....an Overlord.

Having lost the Overlord some time ago, the long-lived advisor imp, Gnarl, and the all of the other minions toil over their loss. This Overlord, was perhaps the best of all compared to the past ones. During this time though, they have found a spell in a tome that may re-unite them with their master. But smally printed in the dusty and aged book, a message states that the spell comes with mixed results. Will they bring back their master? Will they fail? Or, will they re-unite in a mysterious new land ripe for plundering?

This is a satirical comedy of regular stories of heroes against villains. This story, instead of regular ones, features the villain as the protagonist and the heroes as antagonists. If you enjoy a story in which the Mane 6 are finally shown as vunerable instead of invunerable whenever dangers appear, feel free to take a gander yonder.
