As much trouble as they can be sometimes, you still wouldn't trade them for the world.

We all have sides to ourselves we don't like. Personas we take up on bad days, or strange days. Things we'd rather forget.

Fluttershy has plenty of those.

And they argue.

In a parallel world, Sunset Shimmer had escaped her studies in Equestria and aligned herself with the evil Rainbooms of the other side. They now stand the mightiest in Canterlot High School, and no one is able to stand up to them. Their deception and manipulation to the staff keeps them on top, along with another hidden power.

But three new students seem to have these Rainbooms invested, and something about them just seems a bit off...

Follow a hero as he transforms himself from a villain while undergoing new trails and experiences. The story is a satire focused on the modern American Society from a moderate perspective. Synapse is a yearling amongst his changeling kind. Synapse spent four long years faking an identity that caused him to believe that it was his true self. After suffering through events which appeared to permanently denote him as a villain, he will search for the reclamation of his lost identity. The road ahead will be difficult, but the will of fire burns strong and he will succeed.

Now, he has returned to wreak havoc on not just Equestria, but all of Equis. To stop him, the elite organization Z.O.D.I.A.C. was formed. Scarlet Thorn is one such agent. A pegasus without flight, and a loving mother as well as special-somepony, she must juggle her personal life as a Ponyville citizen, with her life as an agent of Z.O.D.I.A.C.
