1026842 I'll make sure to join some of them. Yes that was indeed the genre I was referring to and, to be completely honest, I think I could write a good clopfic given the time and inspiration. I haven't yet because I've been more focused on my current pandemic story and I also really wanted to release some poems, no matter how mediocre, just to get some feedback on them.

Poetry is kind of my thing in everything except MLP based literature. I haven't written enough MLP poems to be very good at it, whereas I've written plenty of poems on personal experiences that were voted to top poems of my class in my school. My teacher even suggested I should join a poetry contest because she thinks I would win it easily but, as I said, MLP poetry eludes me at present moment.

To elaborate on the clopfic: I'm not sure if you are disapproving of them (I've read my share and I have to say that, although some are amazing and very good reads, others simply rely on the sex to get them views and it's really sad to see something so dry and lifeless get so many views) but I might get into the business soon. Probably after I finish my current Pandemic story I will (that should take me at least another 2 weeks unless I rush it)

Anyway, thanks again for the help. I'll look into the groups on your page and I'll start writing more stories and posting them places.

1026825 The amusing amount of ellipses in your sentence leads me to believe you're referring to clop (if not please ignore the rest, but that's the only genre I can think of that fits your description). It's true that clop does get more viewership: switching the "view mature" button on and off and looking at the feature box will pretty much prove that. And yes, unfortunately, some great stories are overlooked and instead steered away from viewership by clop, sometimes the quality of which is questionable. But heck, what you gonna do. We're human, after all. That being said you don't have to write clop to get featured, I know I didn't. Just work hard on what you write best
