Mrs. Cake gazed at the dessert on the counter. She sighed, "I love Hearth's Warming... I just wish everypony didn't give fruitcake."

Looking up from the cupcakes she was decorating, Pinkie Pie asked, "You don't like fruitcake?"

"Not particularly," admitted the older mare.

"I can fix that!" proclaimed Pinkie. She bounced over to the cupboard and then to the fruitcake. She opened a one pound bag of sugar.

"Aren't you going to use a measuring spoon?" asked a confused Mrs. Cake.

"Nope!" responded Pinkie, who proceeded to dump the entire bag onto the offending cake.

After a moment, Mrs. Cake stared at the fruitcake buried beneath a mountain of sugar.

Pinkie Pie bounded to the cupboard and returned with another bag of sugar....

I don't like ice tea. But if I put enough sugar in it the tea taste is completely drowned out.

I love fruitcake! It's probably good that it's considered a seasonal thing because otherwise I might have some health problems from eating too much of it.

My family doesn't like fruitcake, so I've only had a piece or two over the course of my life. What I've tried I actually enjoyed. But the holiday food that I enjoy the most is eggnog. Specifically the vanilla spice variety. I'd drink it all year long!

only problem is all the tea is at the top, so it gets less sweet with every sip

also northern restaurants just don't make it like in the south, in the south they brew the sugar in the tea to get natural taste
