Many moons pass by and all is well until Twilight Sparkle Realizes she's missing something, her friends who she hadn't seen since her coronation ceremony. Now she's the ruler of equestria and after sending Luster Dawn to Ponyville she has the courage thanks to Spike to visit her best friends. Little does she know a war against blood sucking vampires is about to begin. Who will stop it? Will this be the end of Equestria?

Sometime after the incident with Sludge happens, Spike's been more and more conflicted on where he really came from, he never properly got the answer as to where he came from, and this incident only made him question it more. But one day, he wakes up to receive a strange letter that's in his room. And upon reading it, the letter surprises him greatly when it says that it's from someone who claims to be his mom, and that she is in a world of Dragons, the Dragon Realm, and for them to finally meet and for Spike to understand where he came from, he needs to go there in order to find her.

The letter had a potion that looked to be able to teleport Spike to this world, and after heavy thinking, Spike decides to go on his own to find out what really happened to him by himself, he leaves a letter for Twilight and the others to let them know he's going out on his own to find his own calling. When he arrives in this world, he meets a purple dragon by the name of Spyro, and after learning about eachother's problems, Spike and Spyro team up in order to stop the threats that come in their way, while also trying to find Spike's mother..

Walking away from the smoldering ruins of Golden Oaks, Twilight said she was fine. As she bid her friends farewell and settled into the new crystal palace, she said all was well. Why then has nopony seen her in days? When Spike comes running in a panic, Applejack decides to investigate.

After all, in a world filled with change, a pony can always rely on the comfort of a friend when in need. In this case, Twilight is in need of a friend, and Applejack will be there for her.

Having completed his molting phase, Spike's scales now come with a pair of wings that allow him to fly. But Smolder soon blabs to Twilight that her fellow dragon is having trouble mastering his new wings, and needs to learn how.

Fortunately, Twilight decides to sign Spike up for flying lessons with Rainbow Dash, much like when she was learning how to master her wings. And after a bit of pleading, Rainbow agrees.

But what will happen when Twilight decides to get in on the lessons as well? And more importantly, will Spike be able to master his new wings without constantly crash landing? Plus, what reason does Twilight have for getting involved?

And that's not the only concern; during the changeling incident, Wildson Mandoli had sent the energy being known as Zanth flying and things are on high alert in case the thing born from White Flame's anguish and pain from his past returns. And that's still not all; more clues get unearthed from Canterlot's Parish District that further prove that the Parish District is really White Flame's old hometown. Between Ember's vists to Ponyville, Zanth still at large, and the continued investigation of the Parish District, there are mysteries abound as Spike & Smolder as well as the elements of harmony continue their adventures.

The sequel is here! While this story not only is the proper sequel to My Little Pony: When Friendship Shimmers - Reboot but is also technically the sequel to A Draconic Hearth's Warming however that story won't be relevant for the first few chapters. You'll know when the one-shot becomes relevant because then Spike & Smolder will have wedding rings on, rather then them talking as if they are only engaged. Also, it's very recommended that you know everything from the prequel before you even touch this story. Thankfully, there's no planned gore this time, only death. So story will stick to being teen rated this time.

Though I use the term "death" very loosely. Can you call it death if what you plan to kill off isn't even alive in the first place? I'm still adding the tag just to be safe though.

His fears of losing himself may come to be. because after he, Ori and they're new little sister Ku go on a flight, they are separated from her from a storm. Spike and Ori awaken in a new land called Niwen and they go on a journey to find Ku and save this new land from a terrifying threat.
