So Spike isn't a dragon? As interesting as Diamond Tiara and Spike sound he should be a dragon in this instead of a pony.
I have to say, I DO think the story idea has potential. Spike being Celestia's biological son even calls back to something Lauren Faust said several years ago in an interview (i.e. Celestia basically being Spike's mother). I'm not going to get on your case about typos because I acknowledge my own spelling and grammar isn't always the best. Still, I have to say that the exchanges in this prologue were both sweet AND funny. Of course, in a few years, the motivation for Shiny's over-protectiveness could change (i.e. he KNOWS how powerful his sister is and how bad it would be if she got angry. Meaning that he's fully aware that what HE does to those stallions wouldn't be half as bad as what SHE could do to them if they were to end up on her bad side. Meaning, he's trying to protect them from her just as much as the other way around. And - yeah, okay. I'll admit I might have been reading too much of Darth Link 22's work).
I'm certainly going to give this story a fair chance.

No need to worry about THAT. Twi is already a school-age filly by the time Spike is born. That means, AT MINIMUM she is six years older than Spike. I mean, yes, Twilight might end up becoming a big sister figure to Spike, but that is as far as it is going to go. Plus, Spike will be hooking up with Diamond, Silver and the Crusaders (who are closer to his age anyway) in this story.

Again, very good job on the exchanges, humor, action and future chapter set-up. Yeah, I can definitely see where Celly would get frustrated about those overly ambitious lower-tier royals and rich ponies. And seeing Spike powerful enough to more than hold his own against a couple of Bugbears actually makes sense when you consider his mother literally moves the sun (a cosmic mass MUCH larger than a planet) on a twice a day basis AND his dad and Shining Armor probably taught him how to fight.
Of course, considering Spike is a pony in this universe, one has to wonder about the altered details concerning Twilight's entrance exam AND the modified details concerning the Dragon Lord competition. Plus, we have to wonder who alerted Celestia to Twilight's breakdown in "Lesson Zero" if Spike was NOT Twilight's assistant in this universe (though it IS possible that, in THIS universe, the Cutie Mark Crusaders could have been the ones who gave Twilight the inspiration needed to fix Starswirl's masterpiece spell in this universe).
Spike: Let's see, I know three of you are the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Twilight and her friends mention you quite a bit Let's see, Apple Bloom. You're Applejack's little sister, right? Really good with tools and potions.
Apple Bloom: Well, yeah.
Spike: Sweetie Belle. You're Rarity's little sister, if I remember correctly. An excellent singer if what I heard from Rarity and Fluttershy is accurate.
Sweetie Belle: Yes. You're correct. And thanks.
Spike: And Scootaloo? You're not exactly Rainbow's sister by blood, but you're still as close as a sister to her and I heard Rainbow talk rather favorably about your scooter stunts.

Very little I can say beyond rather entertaining chapter. I LOVED Spike's OFFICIAL introduction (in THIS universe) to the Crusaders, Dinky, Diamond and Silver as well as the appearance of Peewee and Spike's chat with his parents at the end of the chapter. VERY good job on the exchanges, characterizations, humor and future chapter set-up in all the right places.
I am quite certainly going to be looking forward to more of this.

REALLY good job on this latest chapter. I LOVED the scenes with the girls preparing for the pool party and breaking the news to their families (as well as the reactions said families had). The scene with the royals visualizing helping Sweetie, Dinky and Scoots with their training was great too. And, yeah, I got a couple of good laughs from the scene with Spike and Lilly and Flurry's reaction to Spike's bonding with the Crusaders, Diamond, Silver and Dinky.

Great job on this latest chapter. The exchanges and future chapter set-up were all well done in all the right places. Yeah, I definitely got some good laughs from the scene with Spike and the Cakes while he was looking for Silver's place (especially with the little bit of Pound x Flurry shipping implied). Plus, the family info on Silver are some great details and I liked the bits where they were all seeing each other in their swimsuits and sleepwear.

Great job on this latest chapter. I LOVED the chat between Philomena and her mate as well as Silver's father encountering Spike. And, yeah, Spike doing the cooking the morning after the pool party was a beautiful touch too. And Mac, I can understand the Big Brother Instinct, but considering this guy is powerful enough to mop the floor with TWO Bugbears on his own, I would say you are over-estimating your chances.

I absolutely loved Spike's meeting with Scootaloo's dad and Mac realizing that attacking Spike would NOT have been that bright a move. As well as the girls finding out about the DVDs Spike keeps around because Flurry Heart is a fan. But, yeah, as much as I adore the thought of Pound asking about Flurry coming to his and Pumpkin's birthday, I am a lot more worried about Pumpkin than the girls are. An insanely jealous filly who has the potential to be an extremely powerful sorceress (she mastered self-levitation AND intangibility at one month old) is NOT a pretty thought.
But, yeah, I AM definitely going to be looking forward to seeing where this goes.
